What do you do to combat inflammation?
Keto ,after 7 months of having all the symptoms you mentioned, including depression, all gone !! 20kg off ..triglycerides from 4 to 0.8 , HDL from 0.9 to 1.5 , i still smoke light cigarettes, i don't drink alcohol, i think the 54 years i lived before Keto did a lot of damage to my body , resulting in Artery blockages, doctors are pushing for bypass (triple) ,Statins, and redding of HF diet..and of course quitting smoking,,.my main point to tell here is that Keto diet and intermittent fasting did change me , sorry that the life before keto did what it did to my Arteries. Very reluctant to do the bypass!!.
Carnivore.... and now into day 8 of a 10 day water/electrolyte fast!
Turmeric supplements.
I need your advice. I have a savere asthma .Do you think if I become a vegetarian will help me and another thing if I go gluten free diet, will it help me ?Thank you so much for all your videos.
At 65 I have a long history of starch consumption, sugar usage, and oil/margarine poisoning. I only now realize my diet is an issue. I have extreme joint pain. Yet, after maybe a month of eliminating sugar, reducing starches, drinking apple cider vinegar and water, and trying to reduce meal frequency (not doing well with this), I am seeing signs of success: -20+lbs, less erratic blood sugar, less pain, and 2 good blood sugar reads 86 + 94. I was all over the map. Some times the metter just said High. I have other health issues, so I cannot get too radical. Yet just reducing starch, stopping sugar, and drinking vinegar is working miricals for me I think.
Thanks, Kait.
Found out I was celiac. Went strictly gluten free and my Hashimotos disappeared. My arthritis went away. And my PCOS started getting better. Added exercise back in and went clean keto, I’ve never felt better.
What kind of test did you take to know you have celiac?
That's wonderful
@@liandiorellacruz2783 your dr can order blood work to determine it
@@melissaperrotta1054 thank you!
@@liandiorellacruz2783 no problem! For me, I wasn’t celiac - however I do find that my symptoms increase when consuming gluten and sugar 🤷♀️
Carnivore 7 months. Helped me get ride of anxiety and depression. Chronic cystic acne. Gone. Weight loss. Less pain and swelling. Still have my rheumatoid arthritis. But it’s tolerable now. Keto or low carb high fat for 15 months before that.
Amazing!
Same here, I started carnivore three weeks ago. My psoriatic arthritis still hurts in the morning, but the swelling is gone in my hands. Mind you it's only been three weeks, but I'm seeing a huge weight loss and improvements.
Just recently found your videos. I really like and enjoy your information. I have dealt with chronic inflammation for the last nearly 4 years. I utilized many of the suggestion like reducing sugar, getting more rest and drink more water. For nearly two years straight while I was in school, I drank sweet tea 2-3 times a day. I started by reducing to 1-2x, then 1x daily and finally maybe once or twice a week. I noticed a difference with the inflammation pretty quickly when I started. In watching some of your other videos, I clearly see that I still have much work to do on my health. I am overweight. I couldn’t understand how I develop the weight so quickly and gaining a protruding stomach. I never had that problem. I also develop dark circles under my eyes. By the description insulin resistance looks like it’s been present during these this last year. I’m actively incorporating many if your guided research. I don’t want be prescribed medication so I making some real changes. Thank you so much!!!
Eye opener! Thanks!
Very informative,Kait !! Marvelous video !!Thank you!!🌹👍

Thank you for your informative videos! I brought my CRP from a 63 down to 6 by taking my RA medication, exercising, going to therapy to help with stress, no longer eating gluten, dairy and barely any carbs. I’ve also been intermittent fasting lately and have lost 60lbs since Aug.
Thanks Kait for helping us all, your content is by far the best. Since I started carnivore I am 100% better I have had neck and back surgery and my achilies tended was always swollen fast forward to only 1 month in I lost 11 pounds and I honestly feel like a knew person XXOO

Another great video on chronic inflammation, I was told by my specialist that's there's nothing I can do about it, hmmm. So thanks again kait your a great help to me. By the way you look great today. 😁

Aloha ! Watching your page helped me get back on my carnivore diet and it help me with my joint pains and bloating ! I am currently a type 2 diabetic. My chronic inflammation gets so bad at times I had to go to the ER.
The x-rays showed my diaphragm was going up into my fin cage so I could breathe. I am already seeing and Internal Medicine doctor, after many tests he still haven't figured it out.
Nice video. Very informative

Mam you're really great thanks for great information
I have increased levels of Ferritin. Currently waiting for appointment with Gastrointestinal team.
Very informative. Thank you to enumerate clearly and concisely the most important points, and the solutions for them. You are God sent miracle.

Seem unable to overcome the chronic inflammation - very acidic body still though I eat a great balanced diet, don't drink fruit juices or pop, don't smoke, drink very little wine (average of a glass a day, perhaps), eat very few processed foods & no preserved meats. Used to have a LOT of stress, also a cancer survivor - so very well aware of need to get sleep, though often wide awake much too early every day. I still need to increase exercise - broken leg last year really slowed me down, and now that I'm retired, I should get out much more often, but...... NEED help with motivation and perhaps some guidance for diet. Your videos are wonderfully focused, and helpful, please keep going!!!
Thank you for the information. So much pain in my body and my joints and muscles

I think i might have this. I went to get a physical but they said i have nothing. With the exception of high cholestoral. All i know is i get random arm pain everyday and some chest pain. But i noticed when i eat more fruits and vegetables it isn't as prevalent. So it's most likely my diet
Had almost all these signs. Low/zero carb fixed it all! Thank you!
That is amazing! 👏
Me too. Its amazing how keto changed my inflammation and pain.
Facts
KETO for last 4+ yrs.....loved it and many of ALL the benefits
But (not knowing) I still had morning and daily lower body discomfort, lack of mobility and even balance and yes PAIN.
I have a side door I use all the time 8-9 stairs down and up
Mornings discomfort and painful
BUT.......full carnivore for last 2months now
GONE GONE pain and discomfort
I actually have bounce in my steps....up and down stairs ......NO handrail need or used.
My mobility and balance vastly improved
I LOVE it
Incredible!!
Looking good. ✊👍
🥰🥰
I love your shirt and hair! Gorgeous !
🥰🥰
Dairy is inflammatory too for some people. For me, milk, butter, greek yogourt, and cheese are out of the table. I'll try Ghee if I find it in Spain.
Thanks, Kait!
Make it yourself. It's just clarified butter
You can make Ghee at home by melting butter, then skimming the clear liquid off the cream!
Thanks for explaining this. I have chronic inflammatory issues and I’ve been trying really hard to eat keto and clean. I still have IBD though and it’s a difficult thing to deal with. I don’t take any medication so learning ways to deal with issues by making better lifestyle choices are always appreciated.
I used to drink far too much. I wound up hospitalized for 9 weeks with Korsakoff's.
I haven't had a drink in over 4.5 years now and with Keto I'm going from strength to strength.
Keep it up! I haven't drank in 2 months (and 2 weeks) myself. Good luck on your journey =)
Atta boy!
Nice.
You 're not a doctor. Not even a nurse. And still this is the best spent 10 minutes I have spent on this issue here on youtube. And I have been watching 100-150 videos here about it. (probably more, haha) This was very informative. Now I will look into more of your videos.
PS Maybe you are a doctor or a nurse? You definately have the knowledge!. Thumbs up!
I am a certified health and nutrition coach with a BSc majoring in nutrition and exercise 🧡 Thanks for watching and for your feedback!
I had a operation and they found active chronic inflammation and a Single ulcer in my sigmoid colon and I have a hospital appointment tomorrow at the gastroenterology department so I was anxious that there going to tell me I got a bad disease 😳
Drinking more water, daily exercise and cutting down on egg intake 🥚 helped me.
Did all those things. Still got it. Can it be familiar? My dad, his dad and my brother all had it. I am keto for 4 years. Lost 50 lb, in the first year but nothing since, and nothing gained.
Great video ... i wish more doctors would give this some weight in their treatments my doctor recommended pain management and suggested applying for disability and I tired the carnivore diet as a last resort after learning about it on pod casts and youtube channels like yours and others . I started in February of this year and after a few weeks i was pain free and i am now down 110lbs and feel 30 again . thanks
That is amazing! I think the problem comes down to our healthcare system. Doctors are looking to treat the symptoms and not the root cause
Rockin it HCK 🇨🇦👊

I do have inflammation but its not chronic but I do have chronic pain in the past recent I was diagnosed with Fibromaylgia and have been having hard times with it what I've been doing to help it is by acupuncture and massage, yoga and going for walks and eating pretty good one thing I do have that is the hard part which is my sleep been experiencing insomnia and hypersomia and also having been trying to get a counselor as well
Can you please elaborate on chronic cortisol, how does it suppress it?
My right knee makes crunchy noise when I squat. Do you know why only the right one.
Just wondering is vapour cigarettes contribute to inflammation and the risks of passive vaping?
Yep ....I've been fasting on and off for the last 6 months
And I've noticed im not as tired and my brain fog is much less
How do you fast, how long?
@@skybabe2375Don't eat until midday intermit fasting it's called..
Can you highly recommend some supplement to support this.problem please ????

I know someone who suffers from chronic inflammation and arthritis...they stated fasting and it reduced the pain significantly.
Fasting how?
@@user-nv4ql7mm3o dry or soft fasting for 2-3 day cycle. The goal is to lose weight and allow your body cells to rejuvenate. Inflammation is influenced by eating often as well as the wrong foods. You control your insulin, increase vitamin D and decrease cortisol via fasting.
@@user-nv4ql7mm3o see Dr Mindy for better fasting results for women, because there is a specific time frame where womem should not fast, typically at day 21-23 of your menstural cycle.
Great video as always, but damn you look amazing today! Lol
🥰🥰
Yes, I have chronic inflammation for 13 years. I try to eat tuna, all the berries etc. It's difficult 😫 I have type 2 diabetes, fibromyalgia, both knees have arthritis very painful and hard to walk. Chronic pain, chronic sciatica etc. What else can I do?any new treatments? Thank you, 🙂
My whole body inflammation like hand skin leg skin chest skin same feeling on Face what causes since one year suffering.
Since 2 years I have pain in my neck ein upper back right side, I tried everything but nothing helps..
Setting inflammatory refined foods/sugars and seed type oils aside there are still plenty of foods that are keeping our omega 3 and omega 6 out of balance such as grain fed meats. Personally I can't afford a 100% grass fed meat diet so by including fatty fish everyday that offsets intake of the additional omega 6 from meats.
I support your channel God bless you

Frustrating, can’t seem to purchase the Beef Liver & Kelp capsules. I’m in Canada and it says it’s not available to my country☹️. Any suggestions?
I think they do ship to Canada! Their website is just a bit confusing 😅
I have ra and the pain is unbearable. I dont eat carbs or dairy or any other food that can cause inflammation. I been doing keto for several weeks and only change I've seen is less brain for a little weight loss but this pain has got to go. Yes I'm very fatigue and depressed from all the pain. And I take lots of supplements. I'm wondering if I'm not eating exactly the way I shoukd. I don't do carbs or sugar but if the healthy food tasted better I might eat more lol.. im omad and fast often I just have to be careful since I have type 1 diabetes as well.. love all the great information. You do help me a lot.. no I don't smoke or drink alcohol lol..
Hey Sandi, I have RA too. Are you currently on any medication? I have heard eating better can help, but it may not always be enough. I hope you have a good rheumatologist you can consult. I found something that is working great for me. I hope you find some relief ☺
@@katiegarcia3016 I was on medication but it was affecting my liver in a bad way so I had to get off of it.. my body don't handle prescription medications.. I do supplements and eat healthy foods that fight inflammation and I exercise as much as I can..
@@sandib9152 I see. I'm sorry to hear that. I really hope you find something that relieves the pain. I know how awful it can be. I've heard some people say CBD oil helps and I don't think that has many side effects.
Hi I just found these videos and they are awesome! @Sandi B, I would def consult a rheumatologist, the RA meds raise most peoples liver enzymes. It does not mean that your body can’t handle prescriptions, it means the medicine needs to be adjusted to something else or another combination or a different frequency etc.
I am only saying this because my medication did the same, my rheumatologist changed it to a different frequency ie. One injection per month instead of 2 per month. She told me if this continues to affect my liver then we will keep trying down the line of medications until my life becomes more manageable. I hope this may help, I am passing along only my experience and I understand everyone is different😊
Looking very glamorous today

Yes
Can chewing Nicorette gum cause inflammation
I have crohn's. I tried going low carb and it only slightly reduced it. I fasted for 4 days (not intentional) and got my inflammation to be almost normal. I have lost a lot of weight, so I don't really want to fast like that right now, but I've started to do cold therapy. Cold showers, breathing techniques, etc. Wim Hof type stuff. I'm excited to see where that goes. Seems to already be helping a lot with my mental state at the least.
Even white rice???
Yes I have hay fever turning to asthma. I think I had all the symptoms you mentioned. I also have type 2 diabetes and got cataracts. I am combatting it with. Your diet . On day 5 but even today we went out and things happened . Hmmm
Some recommend eating garlic, dark chocolate and cinamon to reduce inflamation. What do you think of this? Thanks!
I combat my chronic inflammation with meditation, anti inflammatory herbs and supplements such as turmeric, ginger, cayenne, and full spectrum cbd oil and of course cut out carbs and have had AMAZING results. Most symptoms of my chronic illnesses and chronic inflammation have disappeared
So Chelsey by cutting out carbs that really helps .
Kait I need you to tackle Candida. I've been carnivore for 8 months, took oregano oil and caprylic acid but can't seem to get rid of the bloating and skin infections.
Please, do a video about it 😭😭
Ah I'm not too familiar with Candida 😰
Go vegan
Hi- I hope you’ve found ways to help you with the candida - Your question is 6 months old , however i can tell you a little that i do know that helps candida - Reducing sugars (all sugars ) as much as possible, limit fruit & try to eat low sugar types , such as raspberries , blueberries , in small amounts , lower carbohydrate , especially’white flour , white rice, pasta etc - & quit alcohol , All of these foods/ drinks ‘feed ‘the candida , keeping it going. There is info online with advice abt candida - Some of it is over complex & hard to follow , but there are some who keep it fairly simple & supportive , & i hope you find something that suits you . My very best wishes . ✨
I know this isn’t a ‘natural’ cure but I had Candida - severe bloating, pain and nail infections with pus (ugh) and begged (literally) my doctor to prescribe nystatin, even though he said he didn’t believe I had Candida, he said it was ‘chronic inflammation’ to which I said yes, caused by Candida! At the time I was on a food combining diet, no meat and lots of fruit, and it made me feel terrible. Anyway he gave me the prescription. Nystatin is quite a strong drug, it can make you feel sick although it didn’t give me any problems. All my Candida symptoms cleared up within a week, so unless it was a placebo effect it worked…
Fasting helps my anxiety:)

Methotrexate from my doc and fixing my diet seems to be helping, cut alcohol and fast food out totally and seems to be helping, still not sure tho I take omega 3s supplement and inflammation supplement that helps lower levels. it's a good thing yet we put ice on it to reduce inflammation
Do meats and dairy products cause inflammations?
Diary can for some. Meat no.
Ph 9 or 10
Took so long to get to the point
What about dairy?
Make sure its organic & pasture raised
It's inflammatory for some people, but not others.
What did you say love, I was distracted.
