Programming DIY on LED Strip Remote

DIY functions on remote are for specific custom colors. Unfortunately, you cannot program sequences or anything else with these buttons. However, if you prefer a specific color to be steadily on you can adjust the LEDs till you reach that color and save it to one of the six DIY buttons.
Step one:
While on press one of the six DIY buttons
-DIY 1 (should be white by default)
Step two:
Press the down arrow keys of the red, green, or blue scheme. You should notice the LEDs now changing from the default white. Once this initiates, you can adjust either up or down from the color schemes to create your desirable color
Step three:
Press the same DIY button again (DIY 1). That color should now be saved as DIY 1. You can now use the other functions, such as fade. If you want to go back to your preset color glowing solid, press that DIY 1 button, and it should return.

Today is 10/08/23. I have had my lights since 12/03/21 and I was under the impression that I could use the standard 13 colors and have select colors chase another select color by diying them on the remote, which I have not been able to do. With your one statement “Unfortunately, you cannot program sequences or anything else with these buttons.” You brought an end to my frustrating nearly 2 year occasional search. Thanks for that. Thanks for everyone's comments helping each other out. There are some different brands, but program similarly. Key points: point at the receiver and hold down the arrow buttons until color changes and press and hold the same DIY you pressed the first time after you've reached your desired color for several seconds to save that color!

Been using led steips for about 6 years now around my pc setup, gone through about 6 or 7 sets and never figured out how to use the DIY. The latest set I got didn't do hot pink which is what I wanted and you just taught me.

they’re different colors, but they make one color light, and when u record with phone camar it usually only appreciates that one color. But obviously to make a lot of colors you have to mix the 3 primaries

It did that for me too at first. Close the lights and then press fade 7. Open them again and repeat the process until you get the order you want
