- A quick tip for restoring those old, dried up glue sticks you probably have laying around. Most quality glue sticks take overnight, while the cheaper ones may take a little longer.
Every tip on how to not throw things away is great :)
Thanks a lot, Rick! Love that you got to the point and didn’t demand anything of us. Perfect video. 🥰
last night I found this video... tried it and it worked exactly as you said it would. I was about to throw away 2 of them. Thank you so much for sharing.
Awesome! I just found a package of glue sticks purchased some time ago....yep, dried up. However, now I won't have to throw them away. Thanks for the tip!
Thank you so much for the info, Sir, brilliant idea! I don't need to throw my glue stick anymore.
That was great. I just found a case of old glue sticks that I was about to add to landfill and then I googled. Excellent!!👏👏
Thank you for this information. I used to throw them away just as you stated!! This is great.
Left the cap off of my spendy JUMBO Scotch gluestick, and I'm happy to say your tip saved it. Thanks!
Thank you for this info!! I don't need to throw away my glue sticks anymore hahaha
Outstanding tip! Thank you ~ I would now be wealthy but, I bought new glue sticks instead of reviving them! LOL
Just what I am looking for. I was about to throw out yet another glue stick. Thank you.
Thanks a lot...was searching for this...:)
Saameeeee
Thanks a lot, Rick, I was about to throw one out and buy a new one.... will give it a try.
Thanks I just was throwing mine out and then I thought well let me ask Siri if there’s a way I can restore your glue stick because I I restore my dried up pens felt tip pens with taking out the Tips and soaking them in water and then putting them back in And viola they work again!
Glad I looked at your video before I gave up on my glue stick although I had to retrieve it from the trash there was only a few things in there so it was OK to get it back out. So I thank you for letting me know that I just have to soak it in water till it comes back to life. I threw all the other ones away. I’ve learned my lesson thanks to you from now on if I find any more glue sticks lying around I’m going to do the same thing with them and bring them back to life.
Thank you so much, I hate it when glue sticks dry up and get hard.
Does this also work for brand new sticks that came stuck where the stick does not rise out as you twist upwards?
Thank you I will not throw them out anymore great tip
Thank you. That’s a really useful tip
I found one of my glue sticks, the day I got it, I just left it for a few months since I had another glue stick that I was using then. It recently went out and my glue stick I found is dried up and too soft
