As a Welshman now living in New Zealand, I so have to come home and do this one day. On my bucket list for sure!

Beautiful race footage, great event, dear friend! I am happy to find other running channels like mine, to share our passions, to receive ideas from each other, to learn from each other and so on. Fully watched and subscribed dear friend! I'd love to run on this event! 💜 Amazing views!

Nice & rough. like above treeline in New England. Looks immediately like some are not prepared with gear. You want light boots not shoes, you want stretch gaiters and calve warmers for protection. And you want gloves to handle rocks authoritatively. The woman carrying sticks is making a classic error, you should make provision to scabbard the sticks if you bother to take them. Best rig up hill on super rough is two free hands. Best rig down is one stick for brakes.

Change cut-offs according to the weather - even the british special forces do this. You lost the majority of the entrants on day 1 due to heat, with no flexibility given to the athletes.
People pay a large amount of money to enter this race and dedicate a large amount of their lives to it, the race should be flexible enough to allow the majority of entrants to finish!
