Way more then possible it's live... his mic has obvious distortion from being a standard dynamic mic and not a condenser and when recording video with high quality audio you don't always use the same software...so you have to match it by hand in your editor. Most people resort to making a distinct sound I.E. drum sticks hitting each other or whatever in the beginning to get a solid sync and then edit that portion out. That is why you see clappers in movie takes as well... audio sync.

I think you could put a killer spin on some of it.
