I've been to Silver Springs a couple of times and, of course, rode the glass bottom boats. The whole tourist thing. Lol. Beautiful area. You know, it's good seeing you actually wanting to eat. I remember you didn't for a while. Good sign. Those monkeys were probably in a nice warm area since it was cold. They are smarter than we humans are. Lol. We never saw monkeys either. Hope you have a great week.

Great campsite location. The cost is pretty reasonable too. Looks like you had the trail all to yourself. The mist over the water was beautiful.

I found it on Amazon! This is the one I have, but they also make a longer version for larger than standard table sizes, and I've noticed mine is too short for some of the campground tables

I think this past week in Deland (?) residents were being warned about wild monkeys?? Brave girl - Ocala has been quite nippy overnight lately! Maybe the monkeys were trying to stay warm!
I just saw that news last week I think! I wonder if they're ones branching out from the Ocala population? It's not that terribly far away!
@ Not sure but they are rhesus macaques and were also spotted in DeBary, Deltona, and Orange City - Volusia County..
