    This is great - thanks! I see how easy it is to add 'text' metafields - But you showed us examples of Fresh Ego Kid use metafields to show 'Other Options' and 'Complete the Look'.
    It's straightforward to set up the 'complete the look' metafield using 'list of products' and this now shows on the individual product pages.
    But how do I make it 'live' using Impulse theme? I can see where you can dynamically add a text block. But how do I add a block to show the 'complete the look' photos? (which 'block type' would pull in this metafield?)
    Hopefully this makes sense,

      Hmm, well it's almost the same as for products. Go to Settings > Metafields, and there you see Products, Variants, Collections etc... So go into Variants and define a new metafield. After that, you can go into any product that has variants, and click on the Edit button next to the variant to enter the Variant editor, scroll down and you should be able to see the new metafield at the bottom of the page.

      @@EdCodes Hi, thank you for your fast reply. I took a bad example. I'll try again with another example. In the product template I create two metafields. Metafield 1 static content= diameter. Metafield 2 static content= length. The products I want to create are a ring and a necklace. For the ring I fill the metafield 1 with the diameter. Metafield 2 is not filled because the ring has no length.For the necklace it is exactly the opposite. Both static contents are displayed in the frontend. One of them has no dynamic content and the field remains empty. In this case, I want to hide the static content from an unfilled metafield so that it does not appear in the frontend. • @EdCodes

      For that exact look and function, yes it would require coding. However you can set up something similar to 'Other Options' in most Shopify 2.0 themes by using the "featured product" section on the product page, or by installing a cross-sell app that works almost the same way. For 'Complete the look' there are apps that allow manual selection of products for the recommended products section. Custom coded is the cleanest solution though.

      It's already a built-in field yes, but SKU is unique for each variant (like color, size), not the entire product. So if your product doesn't have variants its easy - you can display it using {{ product.variants.first.sku }}.
      If your product does have variants you need to loop through them like this :
      {%for variant in product.variants %}
      {{variant.sku }}
      {% endfor %}
      But you need to wrap the sku in some html depending on how you want to display them.

    Hello and Thanks for the video,
    I would like to know if is possible to have the metafields on the description of the product?
    We have lots of product and not time for writing a description, that's the reason we're trying to used 8 metafields as description.
    Please let me know if is possible.
    Thanks
    Jose'-

      Hi Jose, are you using a Shopify OS 2.0 theme? If yes, you can output the metafields in the same place as the product description.
      If not, then you will probably need the help of a developer to get this done by modifying theme code.

      @@EdCodes Thanks for your help, I was able to do it.
      The case now is it's not recognized as description, of course is shown at the store but not in any 3rd party site like Facebook Merchant.
      How can that situation be fixed?

    Hi dude, I'm a shopify developer and I want to build a review app, I want to insert star reviews into the product list page, I've seen some apps that use METAFIELDS, but I don't know if the source fields can be linked to the backend interface, do you have any ideas

      Hey I don't really know much about back-end dev, sorry, but I definitely think that should be possible. Where else are you meant to retrieve additional product info from? shopify.dev/apps/metafields

      Yes - Dawn as well as Craft, Sense, Crave, Taste, Studio - are all the free Shopify 2.0 themes. They are all basically the same theme though.

    I want to give you some unsolicited advise. You're making two classic RUclips mistakes that makes audiences click away. First, don't just tell, show as your telling. You're not maximizing the power of video. Instead of using the first few minutes trying to describe what you're talking about using hand gestures, show what your talking about on the screen as you're talking about it. Your viewers will better understand what you're talking about.
    Second, use the talking head sparingly. It's OK to show yourself talking when its the introduction and when you need to make an important point, but try hard to limit the amount of time on it. A talking head is boring to watch and makes it very difficult for your viewers to stay focus. Finally, learn to smile. It really helps make the user more connected with you and your topic.
