I'm so jealous that Motorweek had a night on the town with two fine, Olympic-class supermodels!
I want that Z/28
I would honestly pick the Camaro looks better and will be a good investment as a collectors item.
I'm proud to say I've had a chance to drive these cars. Not the Calloways, but the factory versions.
I hope they throw in a set of clubs too =))
Let’s see the purple interior back!!!!😀
I wish i worked at motorweek
Love my Corvette C7 Grand Sport with a manual transmission
C6 zr1 still eats it and c5 looks the best
Why would anyone buy an aftermarket package for the C7 when it costs the same as the Z06?
The Callaway will absolutely destroy the Z. The new ECU bullshit that GM did limited power so much Z = 585whp vs Callaway = 627whp . Callaway has a top speed of 206, the 15 Z is slower than the C6 Z.
A stock z/28 is 75k?since when
I came in to watch a ROAD TEST.... didn't find it
lol
They add a supercharger and they badge it like if it's unique or special literally and one can do that...... And charge 20 grand... Wow...
But to keep the GM warranty is another thing.
16 valve?
I think they should throw in a $20 Walmart/McDonalds/Starbucks gift card with the package and add another 2k to the price. Merica!
Wow this is my 1st time hearing of them, where are they located?
As ive heard Hennessey, Alpha, etc.
Cool thing about Callaway. You keep your GM warranty.
launch in 2nd hook right up
That Camaro is soo awesome :)
Merry Christmas!!.. yeah it would be. Oh what fun they are to drive.. combined 1279 horse closed sleighs.. HEY!! LOL B)
What happens to the water when that C7 Callaway hood gets rained on?
0 t 60 in 28 days lol !
Hennessy or this? I say Hennessy.
Give me the Z/28 over the C7
100 grand for a camaro? no way
Making a track Z/28 into a supercharged straight line car for that price. Stupid!
i didn’t know
Is that screeching noise for real?
The Corvette ends up being a way cheaper price. Good luck selling the Camaro
Callaway's aesthetics are tacky at best.
Perfect for Corvettes and Camaros then
Martin Espinoza don't touch the C7, it's a looker
hnnotyy and proudly owns one
This is what I hate upgrade shops because all they do is slap superchargers on everything. They could have easily added power to that naturally aspirated 7 liter but no supercharger is the easiest. Callaway seems to be cheap and lazy.
I can understand a Callaway Corvette (there was one offered by GM/Chevy in the 80s), but not a Camaro, especially when the newer Z/28 was intentionally left degraded and light so that true race or drag enthusiasts could add their own aftermarket upgrades (sort of like Plymouth did with the Roadrunner back in 1968)... Why bother? If you want the stock ultimate 'Maro, go for the SS or ZL1...
Was it just me, or were those squealing tires getting really annoying?
So the Camaro cost more than the vette but slower hmmmmm
What idiot would pay $94,000 for a camaro that is going to plummet in resale?? And $75,000 for the Z28 alone? Go buy a used ZR1 for $40,000. They are just as fast as both of these cars.
eBay has had 2009 ZR1s for anywhere from the $40s to low $50s and will continue to drop in value. I bought a perfect 2002 Z06 with 56,000mi for just $12,000 on eBay. New sports cars are a bad investment.
You're so far off base, NO ZR1 (C6) has sold for UNDER $50K on eBay, never...Unless it was wrecked. It's quite easy to search the sales of ZR1's, most Corvette owners know how to. A 2002 Z06 is a relic, a base C6 has a better engine & comforts. But it's still a Vette & a good starting point to mod.
captjag100 used sport is beat to crap so you have to replace chassis compo unless you bought from old person. I see 96-98 v8 camaro on Craigslist for 2500-4000 but they need some work.
OG Kronix I don't think so. There are 3 ZR1s right now on eBay that sold for $56,000 and another that is a buy it now for $56,000 obo. Which means he'd take less. Just like I said before......they can be bought in the low $50s and soon in the $40s.
TheBikemaster94 Not always true
yeah, way too much tire chirping in this video, annoying
No thanks the upgrades arn't worth 18- 20k. A nice WRX would sit my needs better. More fun in the snow.
Calloway has gone down hill quick. Hennessey has better service, products, warranty and way better customer service satisfaction
Callaway
Callaway Magic... Put a supercharger on it... These guys haven't done anything unique since the late 90's
logic behind pricing makes no sense. I understand its a modded zl1 but what?
3:22 I thought I was having a stroke. 4:10 Oh no, not again.
MotorTrend would have that Corvette in the 10's. MotorWeek is the worst out of all the channels for true 1/4 mile ET'S.
Maybe they're the most realistic.
road & track were the gayest
Seriously immature to want a tacky impractical car like these
Used to like this show. What's with the non-stop generic rock music? I want to hear the car, or the narrator. Not all 3 at once. Unsubscribed.
