Thank you for the video! I bought this and it’s pretty cool to have as an extra dock for the living room, I do have to add that for some reason you can’t watch “protected content”. So if you want to watch RUclips or Crunchyroll on your switch while docked in this, you cannot. I’m still trying to see if I can remove it.
Good stuff. I have a different one that smaller and highly portable and I'm happy with it. This one seems to be a good in-between dock. Consider me subbed.
From the write-up: I did have to remove my case as it was too thick to connect, but once I did everything worked exactly as it should. Now, I will also say what you see here is all I received. No manual, no packaging, just the dock itself. If this is covered in the manual and I would have received it I would have shown that.
What i was wanting to know was if there was a speed difference in internet speed using their ethernet port. Im having issues with my current oem dock and the oem dongle not providing good enough speed for me to stream smash bros and splatoon consistantly, and im dropping. If you have an answer, please let me know. If not, i guess i will review that myself.

I recently purchased this device but when I try to connect it to the tv it tells me "could not connect to the tv. Use the AC adapter with this console."
Someone one RUclips made their Nintendo Switch lite work on their tv they set up a camcorder to their tv and displayed it on the tv that is the only to make a Switch lite work on a tv as if right now. Someone will probably figure out how to add tv out in the future with small boards that would be added to the console to have tv out function ability.
There issues with bricking your Switch had to do with the power supply, not the dock. If you use the OEM power supply, as I mentioned in this video, you should be just fine

It's still strange to me that Nintendo hasn't made a "travel" version of the dock.

I noticed you'd didn't mention that the manufacturer says you should remove protective cases.
I covered removing cases in the copy for the video.

Are you using the OEM Nintendo power supply?
@@RoXolid I was unaware that it only works with an official switch AC adapter I was using a different Adopter so I think that was the problem.

The game cube adapters work in this dock to use the gamecube controllers for smash?

I've seen that, I don't count that as a Switch lite working on a TV. By that standard, you could "connect" an original Gameboy to a TV too
