Ben, the same thing happened to me with your favorite hand Pocket 88, the flop came out 777 and I raised 125. The villain called. Then a 3?came on the turn I bet 175. The Villain went all in. I folded he showed and had pocket Kings.

Does Peppermint verify your ID at the cage when exchanging $1k+ chips? I know they have rfid but some smaller places will double check before paying you out.

Is it just me, the first hand you stated Slick told you he didn't have a Jack? Was there another player in the hand at that time? If there was, nothing irritates me more than talking about the hand with more than two players, maybe I'm wrong, but I see it happen alot, understood many of you players know each other well, but that's beside the point, if I was sitting there I definitely would have raised my concerns.

So, on that, beware if you play in Colma, Ca. at Lucky Chances casino.
I was a super reg there (live in Az now) and witnessed the following
Female player on the rail with a few stacks of chips in front of her and she is way drunk. Dude who is mainly a railbird and plays when he can beg/borrow money is standing in front of her (the rail is a long bar type countertop/rail) and after he walks away, a few minutes later he is confronted by the shift mgr and security right by my table. They are saying that he needs to return her money. I knew the dude pretty well and tho a railbird I didn't think he was actually a thief. This thought was bolstered when they were not even threatening a ban etc.
They did take him out front to talk a few minutes later railbird is back on the rail by my table. He is being questioned by some at the table and insisting he is innocent. I stuck up for him. Why? because, if they had caught him ON CAMERA stealing her chips, how could he possibly still be allowed in here?
At that point, (I won't name the shift mgr because I have known him for about 20 years and is a nice guy) actually pulled me aside and said "I just want you to know. he admitted to it, gave back the chips, and he is pissing me off now standing on the rail claiming innocence"
I was freakin floored! Astounded, indupitably shocked! I even told Mgr "Then why in the Hell is he now standing by my table and not banned for life?"
Mgr said, "Patrick, you know me and you know I am with you but word from above was just get the chips back and let it go"
I have other examples of how Lucky Chances blatantly shows not caring about protecting players from thiefs, anglers and super abusive players, and started playing at Artcihoke Joe's mainly after that

The theft of the 1k chip was carried out well enough. He should have left immediately Though and had someone else cash it for him another day. (and not returned to the casino for a significant period of time)
Or, if he’s dead set on staying and playing, you have to slide that chip in your boxers.

I’ve watched all of your vlogs and I have a great time watching them. I appreciate the fact that you in a cool way, kind of mentioned how the Peppermill is gearing T in the whole thing unlike some other places up there did in the past basically what you’re saying is the grand Sierra ruined tournament poker for their place when they canceled one of their pot of gold years ago I was there cashed on Friday night went back on Saturday and the guarantee was canceled. Had a dealer out here dealing a poker house game, he used to deal at harrahs cherokee until he got caught on a scheme involving several of his friends. He was dealing blackjack and was paying them more than they were supposed to get when they won, I.e. a 100 dollar win, he would give them 200 or more, then after he left his shift they'd divvy up the profits. He is banned from all caesars properties for life.
