That's awesome, Justin. Didn't know you traded in your old truck. It was gorgeous... but if you were going to trade it in for anything, a Raptor would be it!
Thanks Doug! And glad you found your way over to the new channel. I really enjoyed the old Lariat but I quickly got over it once I spent a few days in the Raptor- just an unbelievably awesome truck all around. Thanks for commenting buddy! -Justin
No problem, man! I like what you're doing with the new channel and look forward to seeing what you guys do with trucks. I'm going to be picking up a Raptor soon myself, and will be looking for some mods... so this channel is right on time. Enjoy your new truck!
wives just dont understand, they really dont, this one almost caused a divorce with me and mine, she is just now talking to me almost a week later after i bought it lol
I am looking to buy a 802A in lead foot....too bad the Avalanche grey is not available for the 2018 model year in Canada...The wife is a difficult thing...
I wish I had the money to have a raptor then maybe id get rid of the wife she's way more expensive. I'm sure the Ford is less problems and I know it would feel great inside her. Lol
light bar mount and chase rack are built by the instructor in this video, John Williams. impulse offroad in salt lake city. they make them and will sell you one.
Congrats man! You are going to love it- both the truck and the class. And don't mind the SVT thing- it was there mearly for a 'tag'. Thanks for watching! -Justin
Wow. ...I have a new found love for these machines. I always knew that they were great but we can clearly see just how awesome they are. I'm going to work hard to own a Gen 2 someday, there's no "too expensive" for me... a dream is made to come true. Thanks for the fantastic video! #subbed
Thanks for the subscribe and for watching! Raptors are definitely amazing trucks, they really handle their own off-road. Check out our new video where Justin takes *HIS OWN* 2017 Raptor off-road! -Zach ruclips.net/video/li0u2sMRHn4/видео.html
Great video! I wish I could make it out to Utah with my raptor I know they supply you with one but for me to get out to Utah is probably impossible even though I am entitled to those.
this video got me a 2020 raptor bruh! Yes, I know the gen 3 will be here soon but I felt in love with the look of the gen 2 since 2017. Thanks for an awesome video and may be you would make a video on the Left Foot Braking =)
Hey Rarity- thats awesome! I'm sure you'll love your Gen2 as much as I've loved mine over the years. Are you going to head to the Raptor Assault? -Justin
AmericanTrucks Ford unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it out to one of the amazing looking “Raptor assaults” classes. Btw, what are the mods FORD did to those trucks?
Hey Billy! Thanks for coming over to check out the truck side of things! And as much as I loved my '15, the Raptor is such a badass truck- and this video I think helps show that! -Justin
We bought two Raptors they used in this program and just a heads up to anyone looking to do the same...DONT DO IT! They were 2017’s with only 11K miles. Well...those 11k miles were 11K miles of them literally beating the living hell out of the trucks. A truck with 11K miles should not have a scratch on it, these things were so jacked up it’s crazy.
Justin, sweet video! I have 17 Ruby Red and debating on getting the Ford Performance exhaust. Did they have those systems on the trucks out there? Sound pretty mean? Thoughts...?
Thank you sir! The crew at the Ford Performance School are extremely knowledgeable about the truck and for as much as I thought I knew about the 2nd Gen, I actually learned a lot more while I was out there. You are going to have a blast! -Justin
I just got my raptor assault invitation letter in the mail baby!!! Can’t fuckin wait for that Baja trail section!!! And I don’t have to risk messing my raptor up too!!!
What's up with the black hood stripes.... not stock right? White looks the best! Need better interior quality in these trucks. Less vinyl and more nature leather feel and smell. Feels so cheap inside. For 75K +, the interior is awful.
Haha, those are my prescription sunglasses made by Nike. I believe they are called the unrest? I'm not fully sure on that though. Thanks for the compliment. :) -Justin
Everything for bed taking a $75,000 raptor off road and putting a scratch in it I would cry LOL and I’m not kidding I would’ve cried all the time I had the raptor the only place I took it inside some dirt roads in the Pine barons of New Jersey
No, you drive their supplied trucks for a number of reasons. 1) Convenience- so you don't have to drive your truck thousand(s) of miles and take the added time to do so. 2) They tailor the class to the current model and therefore demonstrate its capabilities and tailor the drive modes to situations accordingly. 3) They can guarantee the working condition of the trucks and know that someone is bringing some S**box out there that will breakdown and ruin the day for the others. 4) You get to beat on someone elses truck- whats not to love about that?! -Justin
As I mentioned earlier, it was just used as a tag for search purposes. Ford Performance is responsible for the Raptor and all other 'specialty' vehicles from now on. -Justin
Haha, John was a great and informative guy. But I was dealing more with Brandon in my 'pod'. In my experience the people that didn't like John were the ones who did things they weren't supposed to...sooo were you a bad boy? ;) -Justin
The Baja course was a joke. 35 mph and they are running radar guns to make sure you don't go over. This course was to feel the truck and how it handles in Baja mode. Doing 35 doesn't tell you anything. We even put the cruise control on through this section. I agree John was informative, still a jerk. Didn't the Ford Video say Drive it like you stoled it!! This message was from the Director of Special Operation at Ford.
That was not my experience nor the experience of our Raptor assault group on this particular day. We had a 'soft' speed limit of 55mph through the Baja section and there was no radar guns. Someone must've did something stupid between my class and your class to warrant such a crack down. When did you go? -Justin
u gotta work a deal with ur wife I did the money I spend for the raptor I give her the same so I get what I want and she gets something for herself and it's a win win
I just became a proud owner of a Gen 2 Raptor... After watching this video, I'm even more excited about my truck! Thank you Sir!!!
Congrats on the new Raptor and thanks for watching! We hope you enjoy it! -Zach
Just got back from the Raptor Assault...Amazing time and great instructors, of course amazing truck.
Great video I'll have a raptor once I hit the lottery
I like the V6 raptor because it is faster than the old one!
I'm waiting for my 2018 to come in, and i will be going out there thanks to you...Thank You great video
That's great to hear, thank you for the kind words! -Justin
That's awesome, Justin. Didn't know you traded in your old truck. It was gorgeous... but if you were going to trade it in for anything, a Raptor would be it!

really want a raptor, but it's not exactly something I can hide from the wife so,... LOL
Thank god im not married.
wives just dont understand, they really dont, this one almost caused a divorce with me and mine, she is just now talking to me almost a week later after i bought it lol
I am looking to buy a 802A in lead foot....too bad the Avalanche grey is not available for the 2018 model year in Canada...The wife is a difficult thing...
That`s the good one John B :)))))
I wish I had the money to have a raptor then maybe id get rid of the wife she's way more expensive. I'm sure the Ford is less problems and I know it would feel great inside her. Lol
This looks to be a fun experience. Just bought my 2017 a week ago, so looking forward to this experience.
Definitely make the trip Kodi- you won't regret it! -Justin
what do you do for a living to afford this car lol, Im 23 and this is my dream right now lol
2014 owner here, GREAT video!
Thanks for the video. I'm going in a couple months. Looking forward to it!
Thanks for watching! -Zach
I so want a Raptor
I just got a new-to-me FX4. Would love to do some off roading but have never done it and not looking to race, just have fun.
Congrats on the new truck, Gerry! Best of luck with any future modifications! -Zach
Awesome video. I ordered a 2018 and can't wait to do this program.
Awesome, now I want one
I must know what light bar/ light bar mount are they using looks so good not bulky at all looks oem
light bar mount and chase rack are built by the instructor in this video, John Williams. impulse offroad in salt lake city. they make them and will sell you one.
I too have a 2018 on order and looking forward to Raptor Assault. BTW, the 2nd gen Raptors are no longer branded under SVT
Congrats man! You are going to love it- both the truck and the class. And don't mind the SVT thing- it was there mearly for a 'tag'. Thanks for watching! -Justin
Really enjoyed the video. I want to go to that school one day, maybe in 2018
Wow. ...I have a new found love for these machines. I always knew that they were great but we can clearly see just how awesome they are. I'm going to work hard to own a Gen 2 someday, there's no "too expensive" for me... a dream is made to come true. Thanks for the fantastic video!

@@americantrucks awesome, will be sure to do that, thanks for these videos!
Like your attitude my friend!
Thanks very much Justin for such an awesome video.
My pleasure! It was certainly a fun day for us! -Justin
Great video! I wish I could make it out to Utah with my raptor I know they supply you with one but for me to get out to Utah is probably impossible even though I am entitled to those.
Thanks! And you should really try, they do such a good job with the course and teaching technique- I have a feeling you'd really enjoy it. -Justin
Great video. I own a 2020 raptor and what to know a little more about the left foot technique? Was a bit confused but it sounded important!!
this video got me a 2020 raptor bruh! Yes, I know the gen 3 will be here soon but I felt in love with the look of the gen 2 since 2017. Thanks for an awesome video and may be you would make a video on the Left Foot Braking =)

AmericanTrucks Ford unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it out to one of the amazing looking “Raptor assaults” classes. Btw, what are the mods FORD did to those trucks?
That's a bummer. These trucks were all bone stock with the exception of some additional lighting. -Justin
How did I not know about this? Signing up ASAP
That Is so cool man. Another pro
That’s funny I traded in my white lariat for a lightning blue raptor but then I got bored of that too and went with the Roush F150 supercharged
Damn that looked fun didn't know you trade in your 5. F150 for a raptor you love it now
Hey Billy! Thanks for coming over to check out the truck side of things! And as much as I loved my '15, the Raptor is such a badass truck- and this video I think helps show that! -Justin
Going this week. Can't wait. Purchased from Lasco Ford in MI. & LascoAutoParts.com
You'll have a blast David! -Justin
Live here in Utah totally said Tooele wrong😆 the last e has an "a" sound😅
Probably! -Justin
Nice I want a Ranger raptor
We bought two Raptors they used in this program and just a heads up to anyone looking to do the same...DONT DO IT! They were 2017’s with only 11K miles. Well...those 11k miles were 11K miles of them literally beating the living hell out of the trucks. A truck with 11K miles should not have a scratch on it, these things were so jacked up it’s crazy.
Nice. As an "influencer" you didn't have to share a truck. How did they work it for everyone else with the swapping?
A free day of driving school?? Great idea to get comfortable with driving a new truck.
Great job From FORD good Trucks for you
I want-a-go!
Justin, sweet video! I have 17 Ruby Red and debating on getting the Ford Performance exhaust. Did they have those systems on the trucks out there? Sound pretty mean? Thoughts...?
my 04 X5 has hill descent... and a crazy nice sophisticated 4wd system with variable power split. is it half raptor?
Sure! -Justin
Great video, can't wait to go in September. Got lots of questions about all the design choices that made!
Thank you sir! The crew at the Ford Performance School are extremely knowledgeable about the truck and for as much as I thought I knew about the 2nd Gen, I actually learned a lot more while I was out there. You are going to have a blast! -Justin
What time did the class end?
I just got my raptor assault invitation letter in the mail baby!!! Can’t fuckin wait for that Baja trail section!!! And I don’t have to risk messing my raptor up too!!!
You'll have a blast Joe! -Justin
AmericanTrucks Ford oh shit! It’s Justin!! Sup!!
Whats up dude- when you going to Utah? You'll definitely S*** your pants on that side hill obstacle- its NUTS! -Justin
AmericanTrucks Ford thanks bro! I honestly don’t know yet. I’ll make up my mind soon and schedule one. Your video was very helpful.
When You’re On the 30 Degree Side of the RAPTOR How DO You Keep Oil in the 3.5 Eccoboost Engine Sir?
You shouldn't have an issue if for short duration...Oil pump should be able to pick up enough to avoid any harm.
White, grey seem like the best colors
As an Oxford White owner, I would agree! ;) -Justin
Not disagreeing, but there are so many bloody white, black and grey/silver vehicles out there, we need more colors rep'd.
Justin just bought a new f-150 traded it in for a brand new Raptor man, wish I had your money!
Its all that stripping I've been doing at night. -Justin
What's up with the black hood stripes.... not stock right? White looks the best! Need better interior quality in these trucks. Less vinyl and more nature leather feel and smell. Feels so cheap inside.
For 75K +, the interior is awful.
Did you get to touch that gt40? or just film it? either way, So jeaulious!
I may have drooled on it a little - Justin
What sunglasses are those?, they look nice
Haha, those are my prescription sunglasses made by Nike. I believe they are called the unrest? I'm not fully sure on that though. Thanks for the compliment. :) -Justin
Truck looks great! 6 cylinder twin turbo is a deal breaker for me.
That’s fine with me. Less competition out there for my Raptor, so keep eating my dust! 😆
This is what separates Ford Raptor and Ram TRX. Ram doesn't even do this bad ass program.
Not how you pronounce tooele😂😂👌 good vid tho!👍
I know I know, I struggled with it all week. Sorry! lol -Justin
Everything for bed taking a $75,000 raptor off road and putting a scratch in it I would cry LOL and I’m not kidding I would’ve cried all the time I had the raptor the only place I took it inside some dirt roads in the Pine barons of New Jersey
You don’t get to drive your own Raptor? I will drive my 2012 before a demo truck
-Justin
It's not an SVT Raptor, its just the Raptor. Only the first model Raptor was designed by SVT.
As I mentioned earlier, it was just used as a tag for search purposes. Ford Performance is responsible for the Raptor and all other 'specialty' vehicles from now on. -Justin
Ford uses the " FORD PERFORMANCE '' branding now instead of SVT. SVT is out. Done.
Hopefully you don't get stuck with John, the instructor in your Assault program!
Haha, John was a great and informative guy. But I was dealing more with Brandon in my 'pod'. In my experience the people that didn't like John were the ones who did things they weren't supposed to...sooo were you a bad boy? ;) -Justin

50 mph...
😐
Good video. Super lame school
Raptor assault is a fucking disappointing now.
This should be held in California not Utah lol
Have you ever wheeled in Utah? -Justin
Yall call that offroading? I do that a on a regular basis on my bicycle. Not jk.
Cool story bro. -Justin
u gotta work a deal with ur wife I did the money I spend for the raptor I give her the same so I get what I want and she gets something for herself and it's a win win
Happy wife happy life. 😁 -Zach
