The hunt is great, rare cards are great, but in the end, after the rush is gone, you are left with the cards. Hopefully you like the cards.
I had the same question as Darren, wondering if Graig really likes the pre-war cards. It would be a shame if he passes on cards he really likes for those he prefers less because of higher expected resale value.
Great point, don’t get FOMO and forget you need to love the card, after you get it.
Darren will have to Join Rick and me for our get off my lawn segment 😂
Yeah, he really brought it today, lol! Damn kids!
I'm in the minority but I don't like the '52 mantle I hate that yellow bat on the card. To me the '53 mantle is a much better looking card.
I agree. His '53 Topps is a great card that doesn't seem to get talked about much not, at least on RUclips anyway.
The 53 is a great card! My friend John thinks Mantles 52 card looks like a beaver, haha. I don’t mind it but I see your point!
Epic conversation! Four of my all-time favorite RUclipsrs and Content creators. Thanks for all you guys do, it’s greatly appreciated.
Thanks Kevin, that’s super nice of you!
Everything is expendable Theo. If someone offers u 2 million for your Clemente collection, u r selling it. But u r still a collector. Great show fellas.
That’s a fair point. I don’t take my cards to the show and offer them, but I get your point. I think after hearing the guys and chat, I probably should be more open minded about how modern collectors do things differently.
Its tough to have much of a spike for a guy who has been considered top 3 all time by 99.9% of every babseball fan alive since 1970. I would bet there was a minor uptick in kaboomies traded for Willie Mays in recent months.
That’s a fair point! Thanks for watching!
Just 4 buddies talking about baseball cards. I love it!!!
💯, glad you enjoyed it!
Great show fellas. Graig right all day on kiss being overrated
Let’s not get Graigs head big, lol! Thanks for watching!
Agree with Darren on the Fanatics deal 110%. Nothing to see there imho.
Darren definitely brought it, I love his take!
Grouchy old vintage guy 😂
😆
I’m with Darren. Vintage is best!!
Vintage 👊🏻
Fantastic show guys!!!!
Thanks so much!
There are worse cards to have 6 examples of.
Haha, I agree! Love that Mookie has 6 different versions, super cool!
When it comes to CT Scanners... I'M BUYING.
I am not interested in going Downtown for a Flawless, Kaboom Panini sandwich.
😂
McCovey rc one of the worst looking cards
Will 4 Collectors ever be offered as a podcast again? I started listening last year but I think the episodes stopped last December.
You’re the first person that has asked that. We weren’t sure if we had enough people listening on podcast, so we stopped posting them. But I’ll bring it up, with the other guys and maybe we can start doing it again!
@@ClementeCollector I didn't know there was a podcast. I like that idea.
@@ClementeCollectorThanks! I travel a lot for work and listen to podcasts all the time. 4 Collectors gives me my baseball card collecting fix and makes me feel like I’m listening to old friends visit even though we’ve never met!
Fun live-stream. Over 100 people watching, and/or commenting is awesome. Probably some of them were hoping, and anticipating the Fanatics hate lol, which there was some, but rather light, it could have been even more critical, though I think it's also good, to keep, an open mind when it comes to doing something a bit different. I think a lot of the DeLorean questions seemed appropriate, and made sense for the conversation too. Great seeing Theo, Mookie, Darren and even Graig!
It was a blast, thanks for holding down the chat!
@@ClementeCollector Thanks, Theo
