Wow! I never thought it would happen - Lou cooking something on camera! The beer-crate stools are a smart short-term fix and the van's seems in great shape too - looking forward to seeing more finishing touches. Hope AJ is fully recovered now - and it seems he enjoyed his cake!
I have evidence she can cook so now she had no excuses. We have just ordered a few more bits online for more finishing touches, now it's waiting for them to arrive. AJ is doing well thank you, it will be about 6 weeks till he can have his ball back though!
I have just discovered you guys today and have watched three of your videos already. Really like them. Very chilled, not chaotic like you get with a lot of videos/vlogs. Informative and funny. Thanks for the smiles guys.
Thank you 😁 would love to do an outtakes vid but most of our original footage has gone, we ran out of space on the hard drive. I'm gonna start keeping them from now on tho, especially as now I have more time to actually edit the videos now the build is finished 😁
Instead of raising the floor you could lower the driver and passenger seats. I bought two lowered seat frames for mine, they were still too high so I cut the tops off and lowered them even more. You can still use the boxes to be really comfy, we use cheapo folding step stools. I've got the same van so I know it does work 😀🙂
Thanks, that's a good idea for the future, funds are a bit low at the minute tho lol! Emily is only 5 foot 1 so I think she will always need a foot stall lol! 😂
@@campervibe Yeah the lowered bases are not cheap, I welded my own up in the Vivaro, but the Relay is more complex. I had no choice though, at 6'2" with the seat swivels installed my eyes were level with the top of the windscreen. Much lower now though
@@petemgw413 yeh you would have had trouble, I'm prob just about OK at 5'7" my head is pretty close to the same height as the little cab storage right at the front
I remember when you fitted the battery monitor and the tiling ,Louise was very patient with you. Wow , can’t believe how bossy you are Emily 😂 Great video girls, had me in stitches. I’m going to have a go at making the dog cake 🎂 I also lost a couple of days working on my build 🍻🍻🍻🍻
Bossy never, I just like things done a certain way (my way) 😂 you could try the cake but I wouldn't recommend it, it's for dogs! It's easily done, I tend to lose a couple of days each week...
Emily what makes that cake a dog cake? Apart from the peanut butter I'd eat that 😉 And Louise just an idea for planning out your heater layout. I managed to have 3 outlets with my diesel heater using 2 flowing T fittings. 2 outlets in the living space and 1 in the garage. By adjusting the outlets you can balance the heat to each of them 👍
Hi Mark, I'm not sure really, Lou eats it and says it tastes OK lol! 🤣 She also said thanks for the tip on the diesel heater, would be nice to have 2 outlets! 😁👍
I'm not that good at it really, lets see how I do on the drivers and passenger seat covers haha. AJ is such a tough cookie, you wouldn't know he has cracked it but I am sure the cake helped
I have a "certain Swedish furniture store" storage ottoman in my place and it is AUD149! It is great cause it's additional seating; the cover is removal and washable and the interior holds a lot of pillows etc but yours is seriously the bee's knees. xox. Mmm. Maybe you could throw us some videos of you both making up other IKEA or big store alternatives? Not just for me... Take it up with your marketing manager. Lmao. 😷😘😷❤️🙏
Haha, marketing manager! 🤣🤣 Unfortunately I have to wrestle with lou for 2 years in advance to get her in an IKEA lol.. She's got issues with the place! God knows why, I love it 😁
You two crack me up🤣 Emily what's the best way to stick fabric to the foam, bare in mind I'm a man so sowing can't be the answer🙈 great idea with the step that's what I done, it might be tight for space for a diesel heater in there but I hope that works out for yous👌
Thanks, I do love the stalls and its a bonus my feet actually reach them haha You could try a good strong fabric glue depending on what material you use that should work, but I cant say how long it will hold for that will depend on the use. I did use an upholstery material as it is stronger and a bit thicker, but I do like the staples onto wood, the staple gun is now my tool haha I will leave the heater stuff for Louise to sort out, that is not my bag!
Louise needs her box for Beer as Emily is looking at these Great Job hiding the Vodka you know She will never look in the cupboards what were you thinking LOL
Another great vid guys, love the storage boxes what a great idea. looking forward to the diesel heater install ,will you run direct to your fuel tank or have separate tank ?
Happy Birthday AJ 🥳🎂🐾🐕🦺💙

AJ says thank you, I love the boxes already you should get some for sure 😁😁
This had me in stitches , great wee vid guys.

Loved the episode, AJ's face is horror as dog, when he realized Lou baked that cake.
Oh I know poor boy 😆
Very funny video lol. hope AJ makes a quick recovery.
Thank you 😁 the vet said about 6 weeks, so short walks only, he doesn't like it lol!
Seriously, you’re nuts , oh so like our house 🤣

you two crack me up :) , hope AJ hip is healing x
Thanks Alan. The problem with AJ is he doesn't even realise its broken so trying to keep him calm and rested is proving to be a nightmare lol!!
Only just found your channel so have some catching up to do. Van is looking fab
Thank you so much 😁 be warned tho, the early videos aren't amazing lol!!
Love this video. You two have great banter. Would be great viewing if you had the time to do a outtakes compilation

PS. Happy Birthday, AJ. Glad your mums didn't throw any booze in your cake! 🎂🎂🐶🐶🎈🎈🍷🍹🍺🥂🥃🍸🐶🐾❤️

If you lower the driver seat Emily won’t be able to see over the steering wheel.

camper vibe well I’ve barely touched a sewing machine for 25 years. Our dogs had banana and peanut butter birthday cake last weekend
@@dirtydog2312 oh I will have to try it with banana, I bet they love it even more. Get the machine out I bet you will fall straight back into it :-)
Loving your video's, half way through a build. AJ is a lovely looking dog who seems to have a personality to match. Where did you get him?
Thank gavin. He's a rescue, we got lucky as he's so laid back (mostly) 😂 good luck with your build, what do u have?

What a cool idea. I might make some for the house... once a buy a drill
🤣🤣 A drill would help lol! Thank you 😁
The amazing circle of life!....cake for dog looks like poo, dog eats cake, dog does poo that looks like cake!😲😆
😂😂
You need to make some Liver cake for AJ next. Love you guys xx
Oh I don't know I really hate that stuff even before being a veggie 😆🤦♀️
@@campervibe I wouldn't eat it myself either and im not a veggoe. Dogs love it!
Fun se you work in kitschen (new boss)
😂 lou work in the kitchen

It's the first time she has been in that cupboard since we moved in 4 years ago, I thought I was safe 🤣🤣
We're did you get the beer case from need some
Hi, we had them laying around at work, not sure if you can get them online tho?
👍👍Cool👍👍
😁😁👍
Another great vid guys, love the storage boxes what a great idea. looking forward to the diesel heater install ,will you run direct to your fuel tank or have separate tank ?
Thank you, we will run to the fuel tank. That won't be done till Oct time as I won't let lou have the money to buy it yet, she has spent enough 😂🤣
@@campervibe Ha HA love it 😂
Great video guys as usual, where do you get the crates from? Happy birthday AJ x
I dug them out from my work so God only knows where they originally came from. AJ says thanks 🐶
@@campervibe haha I'm always skip diving at work, we throw out so much good stuff.
Question for Emily as suggested. Where did you get that staple gun from 😳
Stole it off these two old people, apparently it has a back on it but its my fav tool!
❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙
😁😁👍
Ask Emily. What is your hangover cure?
Moan at Lou, it always makes me happy haha
And now i need a footstool lol
You definitely do 😁
Coors..... no can’t be.
It's light, I don't want to get a beer belly 😂🤣
:)
Thanks Jon
