I spent an enjoyable Christmas vacation a few years ago watching the detailed (17-part) videos of the reconstruction and was glad to see that she kept that little moment in the one diagonal where she interacts with the last violinist (at 2:43)
OH I AM SO JEALOUS!!! Genia is so gorgeous and Gudanov...well, let's just say his treatment by the management has been less than ideal and a dancer like him won't be seen on the Bolshoi again. He had the power and stage presence of the Bolshoi with the delicacy that could be compared to the Vaganova/Mariinsky style...what a glorious combination!
The innocence and the energy expressed by her gorgeous face, combined with an out-standing technique and a healty and adolescencial body, make her the perfect Princess Aurora! Thanks a lot for sharing, @TheBunduBallerina!!☺💓

I consider myself privileged to have seen her dance this role at Covent Garden with Dmitry Gudanov. A truly wonderful experience I will never forget.

Altho I do think Evgenia is very good in this role, I prefer Olesya Novikova for Aurora.
