This comes from the belief that Cheddar Man (the earliest skeleton found in the uk) was black, and that his ancestors must have built Stonehenge. Without going into too much detail, Cheddar Man was a Western Hunter gatherer, one of the first peoples to occupy Europe. Their ancestors came from Asia via Turkey. They migrated North and West over generations, and their dark skin (believed to be similar to Eastern of Southern European), lightened the further N/W they went (this obviously took many generation), so that they could absorb more vitamin D. Several other skeletons of WHGs have been found with better preserved DNA. On in Italy that had darker skin, and another in Luxembourg, that had lighter skin. They had blue/green eyes and long, wavy dark hair. They did interact with Scandinavian Hunter gatherers, but not Eastern Hunter gatherers (the two were separated by the River Danube). They were a mesolithic people. The people that built Stonehenge were Neolithic, and it is believed that they out-out-performed WHGs, leading to eventual extinction. Their ancestors came, it is strongly believed due to DNA evidence, from northern Spain. They travelled from the Med to N/W Europe, and finally to what is now the UK and Ireland. They were white (DNA proves this). It should also be noted, that WHGs share zero DNA with any African, be they Northern or Sub-Saharan. Indeed, the only people who still have WHG DNA, are modern Europeans, their closest relatives found in, I believe, Latvia/Estonia. The book is, obviously brain-washing aimed at children. Revisionist history written by an African woman (not a historian), with public money, endorsed by our new foreign security. It is Orwellian, but off course it is.
As a further note, the first page of the book that focuses upon Cheddar man, is full of basic errors. It claims that after DNA was extracted by the Natural History Museum, it was found that Cheddar Man was black. The DNA was actually extracted at University College London, but was sent to the US for analysis. The DNA that determines skin colour was damaged, so the skin colour of Cheddar Man remains unknown. The American scientist who analysed the DNA, has confirmed this on several occasions, but is strangely not quoted in the pages of the book?

The last historical theory I heard was that North African/Mediterranean people migrated around the Iberian peninsular and northern France, over centuries, and they built the early monuments. I don't know how this became translated into black people building Stonehenge (then somehow vanishing from the gene pool) .

Im irish with gael lineage, the scottish/irish/welsh/anglo saxons built them at diffrent stages, it goes all the way back to the beaker people who modern europeons descended from and also has heavy celtic heritage. The druids played a heavy role in its continued construction and was seen as one of the holiest sites to them. Its greatly offence to tru and erase our culture and acheivments.

They were settlers/conquerors. Celts originate from the regions today known France/Belgium and more inland Central Europe. They came to what would eventually be known as Britain and Ireland and either through conquest or through superior culture established themselves as the dominant group. Just as the Anglo Saxons would do after the Romans abandoned their colony.

Also the Scotti were a mix of Pictish folk who left Scotland for Ireland and then returned with some Irish blood a few generations later and they mostly still weren't Celts, who were slowly integrating with the peoples of the British Isles in those times.

Sub-saharan Africa did not even invent a wheel. Not because they couldn't, it was just because they just had no use for it, had no infrastructure to it viable. Hunter/gather lived in extended family groups and off the land tribes did not need it - nor cities. No winter to kill them by cold or starvation, so no incentive to make that effort.
I'm British. I've been to Stonehenge a few times. If it was built by black people how come there's nothing like it in Africa.. strange that.
