Not going to judge it until I see the film for myself. I grew up with this film watching it almost every weekend while growing up when it came out when I was 9
This feels like they wanted to make a John Wick movie, where the protagonist is seeking revenge, but so far from the trailer it looks like one of the most important aspects is missing: Sorrow. Eric Draven is not only driven by his need for revenge but also for the hole left in him after his woman is killed.
I don't have high hopes but we shall see where this new version goes.
Brother, even the 1994 Crow trailer doesn't show moments like those. Stuff like that is supposed to be seen directly in the movie. Also, I'm not being offensive or anything but I just hate the John Wick reference. It's like people haven't seen much action movies outside of the John Wick or The Matrix series.
its based off the comics but a modern take not the original movie but i hope it's more than a revenge story too, but that said i hate the new rapper Erik with short hair and tattooed look. but the movie looks cool

We don't know how will the movie will turned out it could be good it could be bad. They are comparing Brandon Lee crow movie without giving the 2024 flim a chance. And there are people who believed including the original crow director are disrespecting Brandon Lee. Someone already made a comment that on the trailer when Bill character got shot. Someone actually thought that they were disrespecting Brandon Lee since thats how he died. I doubt that they are disrespecting Brandon Lee but that's how people feel about this movie. And why do I get the feeling that some people will think this movie is woke.
My first response when I saw the trailer was "Thanks, I hate it"
This body bagged all of the sequels in just under three minutes minus City Of Angels. It was way better produced and directed than the rest of that garbage. Wicked Prayer was shameful. And Salvation made you want to throw the tv out the window. This isnt Wick like or Punisher like. Its Crow like. Easy how all these faithful fans forget where those movie styles originated from. Top Dollar scenes from the original movie anyone?? Thats where they originated from. Even the matrix took elements from the crow. This looks damn good to me and Im going to see this. Loved the Ozzy Post Malone track. It fits this. Is this the first movie? No but it isnt supposed to be. Its an adaptation of the comics. Just like the first movie was. This should be what helps the franchise reignite again. Wicked Prayer didnt help it at all it hurt it. And so did Salvation. Artsy trash. Y'all can fan boy out and refuse to see it but dont expect anything else if you do. Or you can say to yourself. Hell this is very different but it beats the hell out of that trash after City Of Angels and go see it and help keep the franchise alive. Oh and the short hair look? That is closer to the look in the comics than the first movie was. In the comics Draven had a mullet cut. This does to. So what if its different.
True. And he didn't have the white paint over his face in the comics as well. I don't understand why people forget that the 1994 film isn't "original". It's an adaptation of the comic book. Same goes for this one.
@@samil679 yeah and on this character looking like a tatted drug user that they are also up in arms about. well the original first movie script had eric with a drug use past. look was different to. and the writer and director decided to all but remove any reference to drug use all except one scene where eric removes drugs from girl arm after she had shot up. was the killing funboy scene i believe. so these people are off in being critical of the story being changed and nearly everything else about this character.

Your take on this trailer sucks sorry to say.... It seems you had watch to much of others take on this. You just copied them an say it sucks because its different.
So....weird that you say that because I didn't actually say this trailer sucks. I don't think this trailer sucks. Feel free to give it another watch just to make sure your statement is correct.
Also, the idea of doing a trailer reaction is to record MY thoughts on the trailer. It doesn't seem like I watched others' take on this because thats not how trailer reactions work. Please actually think and learn how trailer reactions work before you start typing comments. It is very possible for multiple people to have the same opinion as well.
