w030)spindle moulder is 30mm bore spindle will this cutters fit on my spindle let me know please

These cutters are only available in 3/4" bore. For a 30mm spindle you would need to look at our Insert Pro line of cutters. The insert Pro line is all 1-1/4" bore and we offer T-bushing sets to reduce the bore size to fit the 30mm spindle. If you have any other questions please email us at [e-mail]

Can a person add more cutters to make a 2.5 thick exterior door for cold climate ?

Unfortunately, no. If insulation is your concern remember that most hardwoods are rated at less than R1 and softwoods no better than R1.5 per inch. Increasing the thickness of a solid wood door even by a significant amount will make very little difference compared to the surrounding walls.

@@InfinityTools actually they will be 2.5” to have a 1” rigid foam core to bump up the r value for Canadian winters, it’s I believe code now as most custom makers are using 2.5” here.

thought exterior doors required a through tennon of 150mm and it to be glued and pegged?

Extended tenon and pinned doors use traditional construction methods that have stood the test of time and do not rely on traditional hide glue for strength and durability. Modern glues and construction methods have evolved and use a variety of joinery methods such as stave core and floating tenon construction. For those who wish to make doors with traditional joinery, we offer extended tenon cutters.
