Long time fan, been loving the content as well as the new guys. Don’t want to be mean but Sebastian would benefit from a different mic
Another remarkable thing of late is how quick some of the games have been. Before the rule changes, a 2-hour game was unthinkable.
Bull pen has been very good.
You know, it kinda bums me out hearing that American kids aren't watching much baseball these days. I mean, NFL, NBA, MLS-they're all awesome, no doubt. But MLB? It's something else. Sure, it might not have the fast pace or constant action like some other sports, but for us baseball fans, it's like a sacred place, you know? I hope people realize how cool it is to have games happening practically every day nearby. I'm itching to catch one myself someday. And hey, you better believe I'll be repping my Dodgers hat when I do!
Re Gavin Stone, he has definitely performed impressively lately, but let's be honest, no matter how well he performs, when Bobby Miller comes back, he will be the odd man out. It certainly won't be Glasnow, Yamamoto, Buehler, Paxton, or Miller himself. Unless the Dodgers go to a 6-man starting rotation, which they are loathe to do (because it means one less reliever, which they can't afford).
In a perfect world where Friedman and Roberts would be super honest and wouldn’t play favorites and go by just pure performance,, Bobby Miller will go back to the minors. Bobby Miller loses his head once the opps start getting back to back hits. Just like Kersh in the postseason they lose their heads after two straight hits. Gavin Stone stays focused like Zach Greinke, their able to keep their composure and get out of it with just 1 run.
@@bench-clearingbrawl7737 In a perfect world, really? There is no way in hell that the Dodgers will send Bobby Miller back to the minors. He is a potential ace and his stuff is miles better than Gavin Stone, who I like a lot. If Bobby Miller can stay healthy and mature as a pitcher, he can become a great one.
You heard it here first. Bobby Miller will be 4.5 era pitcher, with hittable stuff. Gavin Stone will be a 3.0 era pitcher, with soft contact stuff.
If we’re going to pick a pitcher for a pitching duel, Miller vs Stone, I’d go with Stone to give me a 1 run game. Miller will most likely give up 4 runs. Fans seem to be blinded by Bobby’s competitiveness and the emotions he shows while he’s on the mound. Gavin Stone is a quiet swordsman that will cut through the opps lineup like butter, nice and quiet.
I don't think it's "elite" production. Vesia still makes me cringe when I see him warming up. The bullpen has been "pretty good" lately, but I'm not ready to label them elite right now.
not to mention grove.
The Dodgers are stupid to throw a bullpen game against Logan Webb. And if they don't put their best lineup out there, they are throwing this game away and will lose.
Well the Dodgers were far from being stupid tonight. They brought up 2 new arms and pitched really good. The starter Hernandez pitched 6 IP 3 ER and the other guy Salazar 2 IP 1 R 0 ER. They did their job. Roberts put his best lineup out there and once again it failed 1 run on a sacrifice fly 🤷🏻♂️
