    last time I visited may have been in the 70's and I don't remember any walkways, but as it was raining so much I may not have seen them Also maybe the pancake rock spray was closer because of the weather?
    But when I left I thought I saw a Takahe? Maybe it was just a Pukeko! But then I picked up a bedraggled chap walking who turned out toi be a girl, and then later a couple.
