Ahhh, well I believe it can lack power and feel sluggish. Sometimes it might be hard to start when cold. With yours being a track bike and ridden harder than a road bike, you may as well check them anyway. If you don’t need to change any clearances then put it back together. But, really you want to aim to get all the clearances in the mid mark of the tolerances, so about half way between the min and max.
@@davidpierce7318 I doubt I’ll have the right size shims, could be days to get them delivered. My bike was off the road for a few days like this. Get yourself on zx-9r.net a step by step walkthrough and the guys on the forum are fantastic. But, if you’re close, I’m more than happy to come lend a hand and help you out once the restrictions are bloody eased up! 😂
Is there any tell tails or do you do this when required ive changed clocks on mine and well no good idea what mileage it’s on as it’s a track bike
