Hmmmm...not convinced, are we? Ohh, was in the UK last week, had all the treats we just can't get here, including a chippy and Chinese take away. In fact, reheated the chips from lunch and had them with the Chinese in the evening with king prawn curry. Top tip, reheating chips from a chippy in the oven will revive the most average chips immensely....
I don't really get this trend for certain people to pronounce verdicts on fish and chips. Just who is this chap and what are his credentials for doing this reviewing? I asked the same of the garrulous Gary 'Eats'. It seems pointless; no viewer can even smell the food let alone taste it. I notice nearly every commentor has his favourite 'must visit coz they're brilliant' chippie which is probably as poor as most of the rest of them. I have had countless recommendations for this chippy or that chippy and even been suggested I must change my preference from one which I find favour with to one that is 'award-winning'. Honestly! They pay for these awards or bestow them themselves. Most of it is hugely subjectiove anyway: for every devout fan of gravy on ships there are those who wouldn't dream of such a thing. Those who enjoy F & C in oil no matter how stale, and those who prefer the trad way in beef dripping. I believe for a lot, their fave is the one nearest by.
@@micknott9481 Excellent ... I wouldn't want to waste any more of your time. With that said I shouldn't be typing this as it isn't helping really. Apologies.
Try darloston chippy, best chippy round here, they give you the option aswel if you want your chips normal or battered
Cheers mate. I'm down that way a fair bit. I'll put it on the list
Air fryer chips look annemic
I've tried the air fryer, but they just don't do it for me either

Nice one. Re-heating decent chips is a given. Apparently an air-fryer is even better. Glad you had a good trip mate.
Refrying them gives the best results. You get a lovely golden crunchy outer later and soft mash like potato inside.
@@JacknVictor Double fried is always good eh👍
