Well done bro really good and these are the moves you actually used when I played you because people just say it just to make a video but you actually use this
Hey thanks bro! Yes I try to do vids that I would've needed back then when I started to learn hwoarang if that makes sense. So therefore I cover moves that I really use ^^
Good video but i'd mentioned uf4,4,4 that cant be parried if mid hit is blocked and has good tracking to both sides with lowcrush property, more than that its neutral move
Thanks again man. My Hwoarang has gotten a lot better. Those wavedashes look painful to do on a pad😅 Do you play using pad or joystick? The execution is just too good.
Yo basuka, been trying this setup/combo but not sure if it’s guaranteed. On counter (ss3 - 3+4 - backlash - 3+4 - f3 - f2 - f3 - uf3+4 - df3+4) Some reason combo counter resets before backlash? Set to guard all/tech roll for defence.
I would use ankle biter more if it doesn't leave me open for a launch on block. Everything else aside from f+1+2 I use often mostly because I keep forgeting it exists.
Hey Basuka I have and all Hwo Tournament coming up and I know for a fact the other Hwos are much better than me and I also struggle in a mirror match because im too impatient and feel like waiting to backlash or b3 vs hwo feels cheap, its dumb i know, any advice for the mirror matches strategy wise?
Hey, I like the idea of making a hwo mirror analyse video 🤔 The bad thing about a hwo mirror is that it comes down to "who has better offense" if that makes sense. Don't be too aggressive, it's perfectly right to create space for b3 whiff punish. Also keep in mind to step quite a lot depending on what the other hwoarang does.
In rff the frame window is higher, you need to be very precise in lff. I would recommend that you turn on inputs in pmode and practice to hit f, df+4. It is important that the df and the 4 are exactly at the same time. On pad it will make two sounds (first sound is the f and second sound the df+4) I hope this helps
By no means a hwo pro, but what are your thoughts on f2 (rusty knife), I would also say it is a bit underrated, homing, safe, RFF. -2, but usually the ss threat, combined with RFF options (RFF b4, backlash) that most dont challenge it. So I like to occasionally use this to even start an offense.
@@tinc5848 f2 can be stepped easily with only a bit tracking to the left. The move is good, I use it as a checking tool. So mostly only f2 and then sidestep on my own or backdash to see if they press buttons (RFF b4 is a high crushing ch launcher). F2 from left flamingo / 1 from right flamingo however is crazy good. Same frames but a very safe way to get out of flamingo if you will
LFS b4 CH launcher and a good way to catch people side steping in LFS withou need to risk LFS b3. If step to the right side can be stapable, but the move track to the weak side of hwoarang, also is very hard to step to both directions.
@@basuka93 i know how to wavedash. I don't know how to stop the wave dash into a move that doesn't come out of wave dash. Like instead of wave dash +3 i want wave dash stop d34
@@redhanded3 bro you have to press f after the wavedash and then you can do neutral moves. I think it's explained in the wavedash video from basuka so go watch that if you haven't.

Basuka93 yeh that’s good thanks for the content keep it up
Another great video bro!!! Many thanks and looking forward to the next one
Basuka vid! get the popcorn!
Nice vid man, I need to experiment with ws3 for offense a bit more.
Thanks so much man! Hope the results will be in your favour 🤗
U4 is also a very underrated move that crushes lows and goes into right flamingo and its plus 3 on block and u know the rest
Idk. Maybe I'm just never using it right but to me it just feels too much slow compared to other moves.
Ah! Latest from Basuka Labs. Great study as always.
Great vídeo lord basuka
Good video but i'd mentioned uf4,4,4 that cant be parried if mid hit is blocked and has good tracking to both sides with lowcrush property, more than that its neutral move
Yes that move is good but I like it more as a round ender just like 12f3
It was great help man. Thanks alot

Pad.
Don't worry someone already asked.
Looking forward to your next vid.
You're movement is really nice.. I should practice my backdash
bro its all good, just wanna share that the opening music is a bit loud :D
Way too loud but all good
Great video as always basuka 👍.
Thanks so much man ! :)
Bro I just bought the tekken 7 in steam, my hwoarang sometimes can't keep up with a strong opponent but now I am on Juggernaut rank
Keep practicing bro, you'll get it for sure!
@@basuka93 thanks bro

Ps the ss3 must be a right step
Quick question, does ws3 can be done out of wavedash? Or u must cancel it like kayuza's ws2?
You must cancel it yeah
@@basuka93 urgh that sucks. Thanks for answering tho. Cheers man
0:23 what is that move and whats the input?
Df1+2
Excellent 👌🙂

What should be in no.6 spot for underated moves?
For me uf2 or ub3,3.
Nice one, I think you could've added b2 too
Wait which b2 Norma or rfs b2
@@justaotter2085 norma b2
actually, both
Hwoarang is a monster no doubt

Basuka93 thank! Will keep this in mind
should do a voice tutorial. It can be easier to consume info and watch for longer
Hey thanks for the feedback! Thought about this too and I might do it at some point
Basuka93 no worries mate. If you played on PS4 could do hwoarang va hwoarang
@@wolveztv2875 yea sure if u don't mind just add me and catch me up when u see me online.
Can't do jfsr in lff on pad I am about to give up can't get the move out even once. But rff it's easy

Df3. Tkd fast kick signature move in olympic taekwondo.
@@l_b_a_n yeah Im thinking about making a video on this move alone because it is really good..

the one thing I don't know how to do is special step into a neutral move. like: special step into d34

Wow
I can confirm that db4 is that shit lol, I use that move like most people use d3,4 lol.
Db4 one of my favourite moves
I'm noob. What does WS mean?
It’s while standing, sometimes people call it while rising also
Thanks!
I noticed. It's more like rising.
Cause just standing plus 4 does something else.
Still on t8?
Yes
All of these are commonly used moves in Korea lol.
