The wandering in is currently around 12.5 million words, making it many times longer than any other fantasy series in existence, and is far from finished! I’d be shocked if it ends up being less than 20million words by the time it is finished. Most underrated series I’m aware of.
I believe with revisions, the first 9 of the Wandering Inn are 12.4 million words. So with the volumes 10 /11 added? Probably well past 14 million words. It is absolutely epic. I wish I had found it sooner. Good luck with the new podcast :)
I finished reading all 9 books of the Clan Dominance: Sleepless Ones series thanks to this video making me aware of it. I liked it overall but I wanted to mention that the series does not conclude the story of the protagonist Rosgard and that apparently you have to read a follow-up series called Heroes of the Final Frontier to possibly get the resolution of many plotlines.
Check out the Hidden Wishes trilogy by Tao Wong. It’s about a guy that finds a magic genie and wishes to become a mage. But the magical community around him thinks he’s cheating by using a Djinn to give him power. It’s a fun litRPG.
Honored to be included in your dad's first review! So glad he enjoys them and has become a 🦆

“You know I don’t think of reading as a time commitment” love this
Your dad is awesome.
I agree he is awesome, more than just for reading books too! 😀

The audiobook for The Wandering Inn is amazing if you don't have time to read it. The voice actor, Andrea Parsneau, is top teir.
