I was raised in this place. Through I am not christian, I thank God for giving me the chance to be adopted. I recently visited the orphanage and it was the most touching moment I ever had. I even met a none who took care of me when I was child, (but she raises so many children that she couldn't remember me in particular)
Thank you/Cam o'n Kyle LeDotNet for publishing and make more people know the best humanitarian actions in Saigon.

I am the happy and proud father of a girl who lived in Go Vap Orphanage. I would like to say that people who work and volunteer there are amazing and do a great job. From the very first day we had our daughter with us, we knew she was happy there. Vietnam has given me the best present I will ever have and I will always be grateful to that wonderful country. I wish we could come back some day in the future. Thank you for the video.

Omgsh. This breaks my heart. I wanna hold each and everyone of them, rock them, sing to them, give them sweet kisses and listen to each other's hearts. They need love and attention.

We just visited the orphanage as well and donated some money and will continue to do so in the future. It's heartbreaking, but thank God these kids have people who care for them.

I like how this video feels more real than other videos on RUclips. The employees were not shown to bow down, or throw a feast just because they were being filmed. I feel the video was more real than trying to be perfect.

charles910 Yeah no problem Charles. Agent Orange still affects people today in Vietnam. I don't remember if the children have AC or not, probably not- there are alot of fans though. That was a relatively cool morning so I didn't notice it too much. Sorry.

It's always great to see people helping anywhere in the world - of course - but I get pissed off too, cause social work concerning citizens welfare should be tax-covered government responsability - but that is a rare phenomon, sadly....:-)

I agree with Mailee. Kyle, you visited there in the day time, you did not see them clearly face to face. Children always play, scream, cry ...Why they sleep in the day time?
There was a news in VN, a childcare give the children sleeping drug. I respect your charity, but in VN, some people are used charity to get money for themself.

I personally feel they should put to sleep the ones who aren't able to walk and functions in a normal daily life due to their disabilities. I acknowledge its a life, but I feel those who aren't to enjoy their lives, the ones who stay in bed and moan are just suffering and they should be put to sleep for the good of both parties

They did not know how to run the orphanage. The childrent need some activity out door instead stay in the room and whinning. Depression environment for a child live without a parent. They should do better job than just teceiving a money .

      Mailee Le
I was born and raised there and the people working there do their best for the children. How do you feed babies with an opened cleft lip (like me) who lack proteins ? You cannot feeding bottle. How do you cradle a hydrocephalic baby ? How do you handle the heat and the temperatures when you do not have a fan for each child ?
You talk about outdoor activity. Here is why you should shut the f*ck up before talking. I recently visited this orphanage, my birthplace, and during my stay children were playing outside. Those children were trisomic, but they were having fun, I could read it on their face. Two educators looked after them and played with them. When I was heading back to my xe hom (moto taxi), they also queue up with the educators have a brief walk OUTSIDE the orphanage.
So if you think you have the answers, don't be selfish and share with them. It might be important to them.
      And last word: just travel
