I first saw Led Zep in 1969 at the Rose Palace in Pasadena, Calif. They did this song and it blew my socks off! I've seen them 3 more times in Arizona. Excellent band.
I was lucky to see them live in my youth. When Jimmy was on the bow in the beginning of the song i was literally carried away on the Soundwaves as it traveled across the room bounced off the walls. It was amazing 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
1969...52 years ago.!!!. heavy savage blues. voice, bass drum guitar ; nobody heard stuff like that. this piece changed rock music. All zeppelin is here. mystery, power, riffs ,break, hell rythmics, mystic music, masterpiece among masterpiece !!

If you discover Led Zeppelin early in life you will spend the remainder of it looking for - and not finding a better rock band. I've been listening to rock music for 40 years , constantly searching for new music and I still haven't heard a rock band that tops Zeppelin.
I looked up your channel to get your reaction to this song. I knew you would love the whole song but specifically the drums. This recording is remarkable. Robert Plant uses his voice like another instrument. Just mind blowing.
Would you believe that the Led Zeppelin's music even sounded better in a live concert? They do. I grew up in the 60's and I saw them live every time they came to the Tampa Stadium.....about 6 or 7 times. The Led Zeppelin is Beethovan. Their music will continue to go down into the anals of the history of music and the Led Zeppelin will continue to be listened to and enjoyed for decades to come.
It's all the little details you get with headphones. As back in the day we heard it on Vinyl and got to hear all that. Quality equipment of course. Ohh what this generation has missed, You heard a song on the radio then couldn't wait to get the Album. It was a special occasion to bring it home, crack the seal. The artwork on the covers. A lot opened up so both 12" inside covers and the back. Sometimes you actually got a booklet in one side album in the other. Cheers
I was lucky enough to get to see them live in 1977 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Almost got kicked out because we jumped the wall and snuck on the floor when our tickets were in the nose bleed.
To see and hear what Led Zeppelin are really capable of, check out their live performance at Madison Square Garden in 1973. Once you've seen this You'll understand why they were (And probably still are) considered the greatest band ever - enjoy
Great reaction. - I remember listening to this with friends when the album first came out. - When it was over, we all just sat in silence with our jaws on the floor.
I like how much blues and funk Zep had in their early albums. All that on top of their technical prowess. These songs... Dazed... hurt you they're so good. Even Black people are like, Damn! Respect.
I seen them live in concert 2 nights in a row and both shows sold out tickets in 10 mins.I even got offered crazy amount money for tickets to show but I said no way im going to show best concerts I ever been to.And ive seen alot the best all time bands an concerts but nobody can ever touch led zepplin
"When the Levee Breaks"..is Led's take on a 1929 Blues Song about the 1927 Mississippi Flood which is the worst in US History. The flood was one reason for "The Great Migration" where Black People left the South to go North for better jobs, and lives. It was the largest Migration of people in American History.
I haven't had a chance to scan your entire library yet (but I will), but I'd LOVE to see you react to Misty Mountain Hop, if you haven't already. That one is my personal favorite.
This is pretty tame compared to the half-hour live version from the film Song Remains the Same. If you want your mind blown and to never recover again, check it out. For the mind-blowing experience to continue, try You Shook Me and The Lemon Song.
Led Zeppelin is a full on experience. One of the great bands of all time....so much talent. Could you imagine first time they jammed....four guys in a room of amps and speakers...and something like this comes out....yeah. Magic, Fate, Destiny.....whatever you want to call it. Imagine the time frame...1969....Nobody had heard ANYTHING like this before....musta lost their minds...
That's what-I mean-💝🎵🎶As a teenager I thought this was a drop acid song, I rejected it. Never listened THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HEARD THIS, I rejected it over 50 years ago. I bow down with u OMG OMG thank you I could have missed out
Led Zeppelin has so many great songs it is crazy. Start with Since I've been Loving you, You Shook Me, Achilles last Stand, Kashmir, No Quarter. You really want to get blown away listen to Live in MSG 1973 The Song Remains the Same into The Rain Song. Nothing like it.
What an excellent reaction....wonderfully in depth...well done you! I was lucky enough to see them live in 1979 Knebworth UK....now we're all growing old but still have the amazing memories and now so do you!
So now you know why Jimmy Page is regarded as one of the best guitarist in the world, i was very fortunate to see LED Zeppelin live in Vancouver Canada way back in 1975
Great reaction! Strongly recommend you to react their whole discography, and you don't miss any master pieces from LZ. No#1 band of rock history for sure!!!
Just became a subscriber. You had me when you said you do not interrupt the song. Thank you! Second, starting out with Dazed and Confused. I cannot wait to experience this rabbit hole with you. Enjoy!!!
Zeppelin like other great UK bands formed in the 1960s like, Pink Floyd, The Who, the Rolling Stones, Cream etc were influenced by old school, black blues musicians by their imported records from America.
More? Check out “black dog “, “rock ‘n’ roll” and for psychedelic, “In the light “ or in a time of mourning and grief check “In my time of dying “ ......these guys are the goat ...... such a treasure to see a young man like you react to the greatest band of all time !
My advice, as you did in this reaction, is to ALWAYS to the the studio versions when listening to their songs the first time. BTW "How Many More Times" off the same album as this one (their 1969 debut album) has a similar feel and is also awesome.
Like all Zeppelin fans, I'm going to suggest other songs to react to, but in reality, they're all great. Do their entire library (over time) and you'll have plenty of us tuning in. Again though, I'd suggest When The Levee Breaks (from their 4th album) and also Trampled Under Foot, live version from Earl's Court, or Whole Lotta Love, live from Song Remains The Same movie. IMO, Zeppelin doesn't get better than those 2 songs.
Then listen to Kashmir and When the Levee breaks. Both will blow you away as did this song. Buckle up Buckeroo, the Led Zep rabbit hole is Deep & extremely incredible! Enjoy the eargasms of the greatest Rock band that ever walked the earth! Just subbed your channel, can't wait to see your future reactions!
I would very highly recommend you check their other song out of the same album called 'you shook me', it's honestly one the most insanely awesome songs you'll ever hear, just think of Dazed and Confused but ten fold, scratch that, probably about 1000 fold.
@Jack Bauer Because it's my own personal experience of the song. I'm basing how much I think this person will enjoy the song on how much they enjoyed this song. I don't care how the fans rate the song, to me personally as much as I love dazed and confused, I prefer you shook me over it. Music isn't subject to some strict rule book that says you have to rate each song exactly how every other fan rates it, the beauty of music is that it's subjective, it's up to you which song you prefer. So no I'm not being hyperbolic, this is literally how I feel about You Shook Me and if you want to disagree then by all means go for it, I really couldn't give a fuck, maybe this guy will feel the same, but this is how I experience the song. If you think building someone's expectations up to a song that I literally enjoyed as much as I'm describing because of how much they seemed to enjoy another song similar to it in its skill and raw emotional power is absurd, I really really couldn't give less of a shit, feel free to believe what you want.
@Jack Bauer Okay fair enough, obviously I was exaggerating to some extent, but if you're seriously petty enough to actually take issue with me calling You Shook Me a song that is like Dazed and Confused but a 1000 times that, then maybe you might be better off spending your time more productively than critiquing my comment in such fine detail, sorry but why do you care so much? Why is the level of hype I'm giving this song such a pressing issue to you? Okay so yes you're right I was obviously being hyperbolic, I probably should've taken the specifics of what I was saying about the song in my first reply into account, but what I was getting at when I said I wasn't being hyperbolic (forgetting and not considering that saying the song is like Dazed and Confused but 1000 fold is clearly hyperbolic) was that I really truly believed You Shook Me was an incredible song so I was still being literal to some extent but obviously hyperbolic for the most part. It is very rare we use large numbers like 1000 to hype something up completely literally so I'm surprised you didn't catch onto that enough that you didn't feel the need to question it. Otherwise the fact that you think me exaggerating how great I think this reactor will find this song to try and hype them up for it based on how they found dazed and confused and what I think of You Shook Me is 'thoughtless' because I'm 'overhyping' it in your OPINION is pretty fucking pathetic, I'll be honest with you mate. The fact that you care that much, making out like I've hurt someone or ruined their day because of how much I hyped up a fucking song is honestly absolutely hilarious. p.s. saying 'smh' at the end of a comment doesn't make you any more right, neither does it make your shaming of me any more justified, it just makes you come across even more of an arrogant self-righteous smug prick than you have already made yourself out to be.
Yes is the Best LED Zeppelin número 1
I first saw Led Zep in 1969 at the Rose Palace in Pasadena, Calif. They did this song and it blew my socks off! I've seen them 3 more times in Arizona. Excellent band.
Your Face! Priceless! You’ve just got started. The Greatest of All Time…EVER!
Led Zep, my favorite band of all time.
This is so much more than just a song...an experience! Been listening to Led for 53 years... masterpieces are frequent with this band!
WOW, I love Zeppelin,...KEEP GOING!!!!

Every time I am amazed with the best of all time….and I am 68 years old.The transitions and the tightness of this band was way ahead of it’s time.
Oh baby, Led Zeppelin has a LOT MORE....!!!! Welcome and enter to the experience, boy!!!
Thank you SO much for being attentive and respectful by NOT pausing or talking while the music is playing .
You heard no band sounding like this in 1969
Every song on that album you will bow
That great, great song was from their debut album. Haha. Such awesomeness. My favorite Zep song. Loved your reaction!
Ya'll remember listening to Led Zeppelin on headphones for the first time? This is why we watch....
Thank you for not interrupting the song.
Your so genuine....ty....refreshing
50 years old and still cannot be touched.
Pretty much sums it up. NO one today is even in the same Universe...

To see and hear what Led Zeppelin are really capable of, check out their live performance at Madison Square Garden in 1973. Once you've seen this You'll understand why they were (And probably still are) considered the greatest band ever - enjoy
💗 💖 💘 💝 💟
Great reaction. - I remember listening to this with friends when the album first came out. - When it was over, we all just sat in silence with our jaws on the floor.
I really appreciate that you don't comment until the song is over. You soak it all in. Well done.
Listen to How Many More Times
It is my all time favorite as well
Zeppelin are always greatness! Those eerie sounds were Jimmy playing the guitar with a cello bow!
You can hear the bass cabinet vibrating.
The live version from 1973 MSG is 27 minutes of pure greatness of this song 🤯
I like how much blues and funk Zep had in their early albums. All that on top of their technical prowess. These songs... Dazed... hurt you they're so good. Even Black people are like, Damn! Respect.
Zeppelin gives out lots of eargasms... enjoy.
Welcome to real music
I LOVE seeing you enjoy them for the first time... your reactions & descriptions are the best!

There's so much going on in this song. Greatness.

1969 their debut album. Just getting warmed up.
Great reaction!!!
Priceless face when the guitar solo was climaxing. You were feeling it for sure.
This is pretty tame compared to the half-hour live version from the film Song Remains the Same. If you want your mind blown and to never recover again, check it out. For the mind-blowing experience to continue, try You Shook Me and The Lemon Song.

7 minutes on the album....35 minutes in a live concert....you need to hear this live.
This is how we were introduced to LED they were teenagers recording this from first album
Zeppelin: One Word! Kashmir!!
Yet another brilliant band from Britain in the late 1960s.
"I just need more" I've been saying that for 50 years about Zep.
Just became a subscriber. You had me when you said you do not interrupt the song. Thank you!

Now that you got headphones, it’s time (no pun intended) for
“In My Time Of Dying”
Great reaction my man!
This piece of art is a pure masterpiece...1969?
You must see the live version from Madison Square Garden! (28 minutes)
"Since I've been loving you" or "I can't quit you baby", studio version. Please!
More led zeppelin get the led out
I know I’m late to the party, but I love your reactions.
My advice, as you did in this reaction, is to ALWAYS to the the studio versions when listening to their songs the first time. BTW "How Many More Times" off the same album as this one (their 1969 debut album) has a similar feel and is also awesome.
Great advice. Plant had a way of kind of ruining songs in their performances for me.
@Jack Bauer Precisely 👍🏻

Try traveling riverside blues. He plays an amazing slide guitar.
