    What makes him such a great runner is his ability to not only make opposing players miss tackles but the unique rare ability to not tense up and try to match stength when hes attempted to be tackles but how he leta his body slow down and loosen up to absord the defneders force and energy and kind of just bounce off hits its unlike any other player to play the game of football and honestly against human nature and the reflex of tensing up before an impact hes mastered running and especially his body control while runninh truly unlike anything ive seen before as far as running in the game of football .

    "Jackson doesn't have the skillset to be a quarterback!" Heisman Trophy.
    "His playstyle won't work in the NFL!" Led the Ravens to a 14-2 record in 2019 despite playing some of the League's toughest teams. Shattered multiple records and won MVP honors by a _unanimous_ vote. In his second season as a pro, mind you.
    "He can't throw!" Two perfect passer ratings and 36 passing touchdowns last year, and the Ravens being the Ravens, our receivers aren't the best.
    "Well, he can't win playoff games!" Yes, please keep grasping at ways to badmouth Jackson. It's served you _so_ well, and I'm _sure_ that it won't make you look stupid in the future. /s
    You heard it here first--Lamar Jackson will change how people view and play at the quarterback position, just like a certain Baltimore Colt did back in the 50s and 60s. Glory to Baltimore! Unitas Is With Us!
    Edit: Jackson has won a playoff game...a playoff game in which the Ravens were down by 10 points. So there. #BigTruzz

      Overhyped is wild, that's easily a goated highlight film, the music, the editing, and Austin's 320 yard rushing game? That inspired millions of high school players for years lol. This is excellent as well but Austin's vid is untouched

      @@joshjohnson2753 I guess what takes away from Austin’s film and not Lamar’s film is how they have aged. Lamar’s is crazy to think he is still doin this in the league to the tone of MVP level play multiple years while Austin had some highlights in the league but his legacy is carried by that highlight video and not what he did after unlike lamar.

    I'm setting here's watching this video on Lamar Jackson. And I'm laughing hysterically. To WATCH Reporters asking HIM...... Should You move. Or has Coaches asked You to move to WIDE RECEIVER. And Lamar Jackson replied NOPE. I'm a Quarterback. A SERIOUS QUARTERBACK. And MY all time FAVORITE. When Reporters say HE doesn't have a NFL arm. Again I'm looking at this video saying to myself....... Did Lamar Jackson just throw a 75 yard TD pass? Or a SERIOUS quick-strike for a TD. I said it ONCE and I said it AGAIN. The NFL still wants the QUARTERBACK position to be White Caucasians. NOT BLACK African American.

    • @CharlesUrban
      @CharlesUrban 4 года назад +1

      I'm going to laugh when Jackson loses a step due to age, the media proclaims that he's done because of that, and then he starts beating teams with just his arm (and an occasional touchdown run for old times' sake).

    All of the passes shown from Lamar Jackson in these cut scenes will be crucial for him to translate to the NFL and why I think he will be successful in this league. Placing the ball where only the receiver can catch it since NFL defensive backs will have receivers covered most of the time.

    I hope what people are taking away from these highlights is that Lamar throws deep down field in a pro style offense. Je didn't have that for the first 5 years in the NFL. He's throwing 75,50 something, 40-something Yard touchdowns, OUTSIDE of the numbers, on the REGULAR, ALONG with his rushing TDs! whatever happened to jaylon Smith, one if his fav targets?i know that the Ravens , signed him for a minute, but ,it apparently, didn't work out. See : he was VERY NEARLY a TWO time Heisman winner, back to back. It was SAID at the time, that he was EVEN better rhe NEXT year, than in his fabulous Heisman year!

  • @teddyjackson1902

    It was the weirdest thing to actually watch Lamar Jackson play football every fall for three years and then see a bunch of NFL talking heads say he couldn’t throw the ball or he was too skinny or whatever. None of it made any sense and it still doesn’t.

      A lot of people forget about that LSU game that season, but in all honesty they were the only one that did that to him. Without looking up who all was on that LSU defense that season, I’m pretty sure that it was probably loaded with a bunch of future NFL players like they pretty much always have. So it’s not like it was just a bunch of scrubs players out there that shut Jackson down in that game, it took some real players to be able to do it to him !!!
