Functional Ram 1500 Performance Pages Explanation

Hey guys. I just wanted to make a video explaining the process I went through in order to activate the performance pages and have them remain on a ram 1500. I usually don’t do this so I hope this helps.

Would you have a hack to change units to Metric on Canadian truck? Swapped 2018 radio into 2013 and temp on radio is in US and Metric on a cluster. Settings in radio revert back to US after 2 seconds.

I changed the vehicle line and performance page showing put when I return the original line the performance page not showing any more

Same problem here, I ended up leave it as factory, you need a jailbreaker software to make it work properly

do you have to turn off truck every time you do one of those things?

Not necessarily but iv been told it’s a good idea so iv always done it that way. Make a change, turn truck off for a few minutes till the BCM shuts off, then carry on.

Will this procedure work on a 2022 RAM 1500 Lone Star?...I tried the simple AlfaOBD commands a while back...and got the performance data to show up in the dash cluster, but never on my 12" Uconnect screen.

It’s in one of the subsystems related to the drive modes page, like I mentioned there’s a whole pile of them and I didn’t want to list them all

Changing it to charger is a temporary step, you’re not supposed to leave it like that. It’s left like that until the pages show up, and then you change it back to ram.

I ended up removing the charger option, there's some problems with the instrument panel with the Charger option.@@shiningstaer

When you put it back to RAM those apps disappear, I think to keep the SRT apps you need a jailbreaker for the radio@@Fillion5.7
