I’ve booked to go to 🇨🇭 next year! I’ve booked to spend Eurovision night in Zürich 1 hour away from Basel on train and one or two accommodation places there or Bern where I start my Switzerland holiday in May to coincide with eurovision and that’s a similar distance away from Basel like Zürich and then I stay in Basel just after the final where the costs are lower for me which I’m looking forward to! So if you do go to 🇨🇭 choose Bern or Zürich
I think it's probably nice for a lot of Eurovision fans to draw a line under 2024 now and look ahead to next year. I hope the Netherlands take part but it doesn't look too great at the moment.
I agree with this being a chance to draw a line under Eurovision 2024 and look forward to next year if the Dutch decide against participating this year it can survive as 28 at this time are already signed up for Eurovision 25. There maybe trouble in build up with Israel still around but it can change depending on the hearing of Israel’s football team being barred at a hearing next month could influence the EBU to excluded them.
Bâle is actually the french name for Basel. Although Basel is a german speaking canton, they still have a french name, but also an italian/romansh one: Basilea, which is the best one if you ask me. And as you already know: I will be there and it doesn‘t matter if I get tickets or not. I will once again apply for them in the Eurovision Club Germany, but the requests will increase for next year (except the ticket-prices will reach Tel Aviv 2019-level) because it‘s so close to Germany, especially for the ones coming from the southside of the country like me, that, even if we should win anytime soon, won‘t be getting a Eurovision in Munich or Stuttgart, because NDR is biased towards northwest cities and won‘t let go Eurovision.

The hotel rooms in Basel are so expensive that nobody can stay there... Are you planning to go to some national finals instead?
