    Like you, as a young artist (many years ago), I struggled with getting the color I was after. It wasn't until I came across a book explaining color bias in artist paint that the missing piece to my puzzle was solved . OMG! I finally knew what was going wrong with my color mixing.
    The amazing thing I discovered is that most color mixing books and teachers make no mention of the fact that there is no paint that doesn't have a bias and the trouble you encounter mixing paint. Some of them even promote a palette consisting of maybe 5 colors that they claim you can create ANY color from!
    This video is the best explanation I have seen on the on this subject. Thank you.

      Thank you! In a way it's a pity that you and I first had to struggle for so long, but on the other hand I'll never forget the joy of discovering that there was logic in color mixing after all 😂🎨👍
