Hi guys. Some info regarding the swedish things. Smör means butter. The small grinders are for allmond. The "iron rods" beside the front door are weight scales. The small bed is a "grow bed". Its expandable for when the child child grows. Therefore the wheels on the legs. Husquarna are genuine swedish. 👍

The small grinders are for ANY nuts, for example walnuts. They were common throughout Europe, for decades.

Hello, I was NOT disputing the name "mandelkvarn". I have merely said that grinders/mills such as in this video were used throughout Europe for grinding ANY nuts. My late mother possessed such a mill and we used it for grinding walnuts. I was fortunate enough to buy a similar vintage mill two years ago, and use it for grinding walnuts and hazelnuts. Almonds can be ground more successfully, in my opinion, in an electric grinder/mill, as the result (almond flour) will be finer.
What a beautiful home they had! I feel so sad that everything is abandoned but happy that it is all still intact. Wish we knew what happened to the family. ♥️

This is a wonderful home, a true time capsule. The family obviously took pride in their home, everything is in perfect condition. Al the rooms were very well kept, no clutter anywhere. You’re always left wondering, where did they go to just up and leave their beautiful home and all their belongings and memories. This was a fantastic video!

These people absolutely knew how to live, and keep things neat and orderly, with no clutter, and plenty of storage space... so well thought out... wonderful... literally a picture perfect life. But, they disappeared, and here I am, still here, still struggling to keep the mess at bay, and the windows clean. ☺️

The short wooden bed is extendible. That’s why there are wheels on it. And the grinders are used for grinding almonds and nuts for baking. They are still used today, but mostly made of plastic

These residents had attention to detail, everything was so decorated, I wonder how they could leave everything like that and not take anything with them, what happened to them and if they are still alive

Lesley, Danny, you have found an absolute gem. It looks like the family will be back any minute from shopping. I wonder if someone is looking after the place. There is virtually no dust accumulation on anything. Flies and bees are attracted by heat, and sunlight. I found places like that had a buildup like that on the sunny side of homes. My aunt and uncle, on their farm, had that problem, until they hung up the tacky fly strips.
It would be even better if you did more reseach and find out what happen to owners....

Beautiful time capsule- very heartbreaking to see everything in perfect order like they just left for the day, and never returned- so sad. My mother was from Sweden, we visited many times, and the furniture and style exactly like my mother recreated at our home in USA.

In the left window in the stairway was a wooden box. It looks like a box I have seen connected to a bee hive on the outside
It was used to retrieve honey from the adjacent hive. If the queen dies then there is often a"hive collapse" where all the bees die off.
When I was a teacher, I loved giving new information to my students. I also love it when I find out something new. I have never seen one of the stoves that has a hot water faucet. That is so practical. Thank you so much for giving me something new.

First thought about the house,was it's ready for move in,till i saw the bees😅But i love it.And i asked me that is happend to the family,especially cause i'm german.Danny and Leslie i love you like always❤
The house was so pretty and warm like the family had just gone out for the day. It's such a shame they left so much behind especially the portraits of their family. Most likely they picked up and moved closer to a city or into the city to be closer to work or relatives. If they left way back in 1996 or about those babies are all grown up now. Their little home was left like a time capsule frozen in time as a reminder of how a family lived and loved in that home. Just amazing.
So sorry that there is nobody to live and love such a nice and cosy, well decorated place. 😢

Husqvarna is a Swedish manufacturer founded in 1689. I have one of their sewing machines but it's not antique. This house made me sad because it has been so perfectly preserved it makes me wonder what happened to the family that lived there. It is a much larger house that the others that you've posted before and it's very nice.

Hi Leslie and Danny, this was a nice house, you never did find out when it was abandoned, it was in almost perfect condition. It had dust and spider webs, but hardly any decay. I thought I saw the queen been stuck in a web, on the window, I wonder if the whole hive stayed and died there because she was there. I don't know the nature of bees, just a thought. Видимо, из-за того, что владельцами были немцы. Немцы любят уют в доме. Было бы интересно ещё узнать, куда эта милая семья исчезла? Думаю, их таинственное исчезновение внесло бы какую-то ясность.
Уютный интерьер дома( его любили) , отсутствие следов вандализма, при том, что дом у дороги, ещё больше будоражит сознание и хочется знать, где жители дома????? 😊
