I'm so happy I stumbled upon these videos! I only recently started seriously trying to learn how to draw (after almost a decade of feeling lost in my "realistic career" path, only to end up picking up a pencil again) and I was so overwhelmed with everything I have to learn. Your videos are so easy to understand, and I feel way more positive about this journey now. I can't wait to see where my art skills are by the end of this year! Thank you so much for taking the time to make videos and upload them on here for free!

These videos are the only ones that I am able to watch without judging. Most of the time people who are trying to teach are like "just draw it" and I am so full of it. Yet, you explain it amazingly and I am delighted to try and try again with these videos. Thank you so much.

Richard, these are seriously wonderful pieces of content. The way you speak as you're drawing and teach through the use of anatomical knowledge is astounding. You've quickly instilled so much wisdom that I actually feel a sense of pride in my work, I couldn't believe how much I learned in such a small amount of time. This might be my favourite series on this entire site, keep it up. Love from New Zealand.

it's so helpful to see someone start with the most important aspects of anatomy first, here I was thinking I'd have to look at a map of all the muscles and figure it out myself lol, so thanks!

Thanks so much Richard you are the professor. I have a Leonardo da Vinci bio and have enjoyed his dialogue on his techniques , he was quite meticulous in thought. To read how he processed the images in his head , truly mind boggling at first. You are so good at defining your techniques . I believe artists are philosophers first . 🖖
