Hard agree. MMX's entire OST is such a nostalgia wave for me that it'll forever be my favorite in the series, and one of my all time game soundtracks in general.
It's pretty crazy how much they improved the sound quality of the OSTs on the Gameboy titles over time. By the time you got to MMV you'd think they were straight NES tracks.
0:20 My fave ❤❤❤ 11:50 Don't know why but it's like this version of MM5 select theme was used for a Cartoon from the 90s XD. It's also funny how the theme it's a remix from that game and none of those robot masters are from MM5 XD 13:43 Childhood ❤, when i was a kid, i was visiting a cousin, he had a Sega Genesis, one of his games was Mega Man the Wily Wars, that was my first contact with Mega Man and i loved the game. Many years later i was able to get Megaman X6 and it was great to find about it again (yeah, i know people shits on MMX6 for reasons but for me still special) ❤ 29:47 Fucking iconic ❤️❤️❤️ I don't think MM Zero ones counts as select mission themes but damn, they're bangers 💪🏻
Mega Man 5, 8 and Zero 3 are my favourites by far, Mega Man 11 is pretty good as well.

Thanks for doing God's job, may your cup of coffee remains warm
Kinda weird how he decided to use the remastered version for MMZ3 instead of the original.
I feel so bad that mmx6 has only one
A hero without a cape
3:58 truly the stage select theme of all time
Megaman 3’s track is still the best of the bunch
MM4 for me 🇷🇺
I always gotta stick with both MM2 and MM10.
As far as the stage select music, I’d go with MM6 then MM3 as a close second. But MM3 definitely had the best overall soundtrack.
3 for sure. It’s got a very big fight feel. Like I feel like the world is gonna end if I don’t get it done.

Mega Man 8 and Mega Man X4 were some childhood classics of mine on the PS1.
Lots of true bangers here. I love me MM4 and MM6, but 8 is also great. X4 is also so good.
Mega Man X (1) IS the best 😎👌🏼
Man. MM2 still slaps all those years later
I love MegaMan 8's music
They're all great (for the most part), but the original Megaman X's will always be in a league of its own.
Hard agree. MMX's entire OST is such a nostalgia wave for me that it'll forever be my favorite in the series, and one of my all time game soundtracks in general.
The Nostalgia From The Ones From Mega Man 2, 4, And 8 Ran Me Over Like A Monster Truck
thanks to this i discovered there's a DOS version of MMX
Mega man 9 gotta be the best
I know bro, so jazzy
It's pretty crazy how much they improved the sound quality of the OSTs on the Gameboy titles over time. By the time you got to MMV you'd think they were straight NES tracks.
Yeah, i agree. The OST (and the game) was pretty cool honestly, by far the best one from the GB ones

the gba of megaman and bass actually came out in 2002, other than that nice compilation of stage select themes
Mega Man X3 hits the hardest (I like Mega Man 2 one too)

You din't even include Mega Man DOS theme select, thats liek the best one!!

The X3 PSX one sounds vaguely like something you’d hear in BOF3.
I like how angelic area zero from MMZ4 sounds
Megaman 3 has the best ost and gameplay
Capcom: we need a simple but funny theme for stage selects....
MM3: create a masterpiece... i got it
X6 ❤
What about the OG version of the MMZero 3 one?
Megaman Zero 3 is not the original theme, it is playing a Rockman Zero: ΤΕΛΟΣ theme :)
You forgot that X Challenge has a Stage Select theme too
Oh hey yo
Mega man GB2’s opening part sounds like His World from Sonic 06
Mega Man X5
Mega Man X6
Mega Man 9
