"It's a Short Walk Home From Here" was written and recorded by John England and Archie Baker.
Carbrook, Archie's debut album, needed one more tune to meet the minimum runtime necessary for it to be considered an album. After playing around with this simple idea for 20 minutes, Archie and pianist John England recorded this version. Archie now believes it features some of his best guitar playing on the album.

This is gorgeous! speaking from a 10 year musician! The name of the song has a lot of meaning to me right now as ive just lost my home so it hits deep. I feel that incredible blues solo on guitar as well. Just all round amazing!
