I have an old EM031 built in 2001 installed in a 30 story hi-rise that had a terribly neglected cooling tower/chemistry. Will this tutorial confirm if I have a clogged or scaled coil? I believe it is badly scaled from the visible scale sticking to the inside of the supply/return hoses.....which I may try to acid clean the condenser coil .... It does not have a PT Port on the factory fittings, so I will try to find them. Will this procedure confirm a clogged condensor? I have seen pieces of plastic cooling tower baffles when I've backflushed, but not sure how much more is inside the coil...... My unit is just not running right with a very lower TD of about 10F.
