I absolutely love this! Thanks for uploading. This reminds me of the flight that I had in a 1942 de Havilland Tiger Moth over Stonehenge in England. That was an aerobatic flight too. I have flown with the Stearman too but always on the top wing and never in the front seat! 2 of my 3 Stearman top wing flights have also been fully aerobatic with hammerheads, loops and barrel rolls and all of my bi-plane flights can be viewed on my RUclips channel along with other crazy aerobatics in monoplanes and falling out of planes too! Conventional flying just isn't my thing anymore! I dare you to get up there on the top wing! Mason's Wing Walk Academy of Sequim, Washington can help you do that!
Wow this is so cool. I was surprised with a acrobatics flight in a stearman today and absolutely fell in love with it. Got the contact info of a flight instructor and am heavenly considering starting to take lessons. I will remember this experience for the rest of my life and it might very well be the “reason I started flying”
Stearmans are cool and a great aircraft to learn all the basic stuff plus aerobatics. Too bad we don't have that stuff where I live. A great way to spend an afternoon.
The Stearman's that I use to fly don't have stick controls in the front seat as the pilot doesn't want to lose control of the aircraft as the front seat passenger climbs up onto the top wing! Oh yes I have flown 3 times with the Breitling Wing Walk Aerobatic team on top of two of their Stearman's! Going upside-down while on top of a Stearman is absolutely brilliant and can be seen on my RUclips channel!
My wife surprised me with a flight with Chris for my 71st birthday. With my basic flying skills in tow and lots of hours on MS Flight Simulator, my heart was pumping adrenalin with every stroke of that Big A.. Radial engine come to life right in front of me. My best day ever in a long time. Chris is a real Professional with great people skills as well as flying skills. He let me use my limited skills to fly and do a number of Aerobatic Maneuvers [I still remember the thrill]. It was a great Birthday gift. WV seen by car or train is a beautiful sight but seeing WV from the air is just plain awesome.
That's awesome! I've flown with Stearman's 3 times now and two of those flights were fully aerobatic with me doing hammerheads, loops and barrel rolls while stood on the top wing! I've also flown IN a 1942 de Havilland Tiger Moth over Stonehenge in England. The pilot gave me two loops and a hammerhead turn in that. All great fun which can all be viewed on my RUclips channel along with other crazy monoplane aerobatics and skydiving! Nothing tops flying on the top wing of the though!
I've flown in a 1942 de Havilland Tiger Moth and the pilot gave me two loops and one hammerhead turn. I've flown with Stearman's too on three occasions but on all of those occasions I was stood on the top wing and not in the front seat! Two of those flights were fully aerobatic too with hammerheads, loops and barrel rolls! All of which can be seen on my RUclips channel along with some monoplane aerobatics and my tendency to fall out of Cessna Caravan's! Epic fun that's just GOT to be done!
My family and I did this same flight almost seven years ago with Chris! It was TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!! I wished I'd had a video camera with me at the time. Thanks to you, Jarrin, we can relive our adventure again!!!
Whenever I have a Stearman flight it's always from the top wing and never from the front seat! And the pilot is nearly always trying to throw me off his plane with hammerheads, loops and barrel rolls as can be seen on my RUclips channel! Going upside-down while stood on the top wing is the best bit!
Whenever | fly with a Stearman I cannot control the plane because I've only ever flown with a Stearman from the top wing as can be seen on my RUclips channel! Flying at 2,000ft looking down on that prop and doing hammerheads, loops and barrel rolls is just epic fun that just HAS to be done!
Whenever I fly with the Stearman it is never IN it but always ON it! Yes flying at 2,000ft while stood on the top wing AND doing hammerheads, loops and barrel rolls is fantastic fun and can all be seen on my RUclips channel! I've stood on that top wing three times now. There's NOTHING like the view looking down at that propeller!
Saw my house about the 13:00 mark. Great having a bi-plane at the airport. I took flying lessons there many many years ago, but never got my license sadly. Got to interested in ladies.
Such a fine airplane I had to fly. Two of them in twenty years. Must have close to two thousand hrs in the Stearman!

Hey that's great to hear! I didn't continue my lessons at this stage in life but i hope to get back into it someday.

Great video! I really enjoyed it.
Great Video, I Love flying in these old historic Bi-Planes & also like the DC-3 on your cover page.

Great work
This is awesome! I got to take one up about 3 weeks ago - it was such a rush.

I'm going up in the Stearman this afternoon. I'm excited and a good bit nervous.
