Seamless Whip Pan Transition Tutorial | After Effects 2025

In this tutorial I show you one of the simples and easiest way to create a seamless whip pan transition in Adobe After Effects without any plugins. This whip pan transition can be made in just 2 minutes with 2 simples steps, despite it being simple to create, it is very effective at being a seamless transition between videos. I have done a similar tutorial in the past, but this is an easier version of it. After watching this video you will be able to create cool seamless whip pan transitions for your videos in After Effects. Entire tutorial is a step by step guide that shows you what to do in deatils.

Yes, make the adjustment layer longer and increase the distance between keyframes respectively

Yeah, you can either save animation presets to effects and presets window, or import a project with a transition into a different one and copy paste the adjustment layer that way

I think it's in your native language ! I searched for motion tile and couldn't find it, for me in french it's "juxtaposition directionnelle" and it appeared. We're 10 months later tho but who knows maybe it can still help
