@SubliminaL you might want to update the resistance you stated about the Sukoran and the FR-76, The Sukoran has a 100% absorption but when mixed with other shields when the totals are pooled, so due to the FR-76's 50-95% absorption you need to add then divide by 2 so 100 + 50 - 150 / 2 = 75% Minimum and 100 + 95 /2 = 97.5% Maximum.
Shields are pooled then quartered unfortunately the Regen and DRT is not pooled but contributes to the pool

Great video yet again. Question though: why choose stealth generators and then have no stealth items anywhere else? Is that solely due to the draw request time?
The biggest issue I've had with this loadout is that S5 repeater vs live player bounties in their smaller ships (ex Arrow). You're going to end up close because you simply can't keep them from closing the distance and scatter gunning you to death. Consequently I think you must retain the gimbal'd gattling.
Basically ignore the Warden all together and go Sentinel. The EMP on the Sentinel will force smaller ships to keep their distance.

May i ask why the repeaters or balistic over the stock laser canons? They seem to schred everyone they hit for me ? I want to go full lasers but the repeaters Just seem weaker then the canons?
Idk if i equip wrong missile rack or not but i only manage to change stock missile to 12 strikeforce ii and cant change the 4 dominator (im new btw)

They are the same pip! You can see it on twitch. I do my testing live.
SubliminaL I really wonder, how they can have the same PIP, cause they have different projectile speed. But if you you have tested it, i guess my datebase can be wrong.

I run my Sentienel for PVE with:
1xAttrition 5
4xGVRS (laser Repeater
2XFR66
2x Eclipse (Maxed out only if i fly, shoot, charge shields, charge Emp and the Turret is firing)
2x Hydrojet coolers (low draw request and lowest EM and IR of the 10s draw requst coolers)
Crossfield for QT because it can make the PO-Microtech Trip twice.
Not a stealth build cause the FR66 shines a beacon through the whole Verse...
I have done the same with my Senteniel. I like the trigger fire both weapons stock, plus you have the EMP. Bu tI would love to change the strange baby blue color on it.
I like the blue... I even like the yellow... But the two together make it look like a clown car.

Stealth doesn't work properly. We've tried it out yesterday. I could lock a Vanguard Sentinel / with Stealth Components) at a range of 5800m with a size one scanner in my Sabre.
The weird thing was, that on the MFD of the Vangard its IR of around 9000 was shown while his IR on the Target MFD of the Sabre showed around 12000. Suppres overall IR didn't had any effect at all. So the IR you can see at the MFD of your ship is not the real IR which other Players can see.

If I were to go with a full laser loadout (M7A in the size 5 slot, 4xGVSR in the size 2 slots), would you still recommend sticking to the stock coolers? If not, would the Cool Cores still do the trick?
I haven't looked at the specifics my self but coolers rarely have a higher maximum heat than another cooler, you'd be better off maxing out your powerplant to increase your pool of power if going full energy weapons
Yeah. I use Sukoran with FR-76. XL-1. and M7A cannon.
Honestly I rock 2 suks for PVE. I just go in wreck shit. 95% of the time everything gets dead before the shields are down. If not I just go hide for like 60sec ROFL
Oh and I try those M series every once and a while and always have a shorter TTK with the CF series
Quick question for the people in the know: how up to date is this video with the meta in the current patches?
I'd say it's less practical now to mix ammo types with ballistics. When this video was made, ballistic weapons could fire with around 4-6 minutes of trigger pull. Now it's it's closer to 10-30 seconds. So it may be great for perhaps targeted PVP engagements such as bounties, but not for engaging multiple or heavy shielded NPC's.
So it sounds like the Vanguard is finally a good ship now that fixed weapons have had some work. The turret still needs a size upgrade though.
It is a great ship. However I think the turret upgrade would be OP.
@@SubliminaLstv Really? I just look at something like the Cutlass Black has a Size 3 turret, but then a dedicated heavy fighter has a Size 2. Seems odd
I don't think people fully understand the benefit of a size 5 weapon. It has 5,000 meters of range... I think size 3s have around 3,000. That's 2,000 meters on approach where you can be hitting your opponent and they can't hit you. The cutty is meant to promote team play, the vanguard just has it there because.
@@SubliminaLstv Yeah before they updated fixed weapons I thought the Vanguard needed upgrades to the main guns too by adding another S5 weapon slot or something. It sounds like that is definitely not needed anymore. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I have a sentinal and don't really understand the point of the Warden. Does it have something the sentinal, harbinger, or hoplite are lacking? I just feel like I'm missing something, or maybe they should buff the warden and make it more maneuverable than the other variants
It will be more armoured when the damage system will take that into account and it will have more survivability with the living core module

The harb will be and is the armored one. It has beefed up Armour metrics now. The Sent's acceleration is significantly better than the harbs. And the warden isn't far behind. The warden will also have an ejection system, this could be important when permadeath is a thing. With more mechanics added to SC im sure they will even playingfield.
SubliminaL if you still read reactions (thanks); what is best (recommended) 2 S2 turret for warden? with decent to good range? CF227 badger or attrition-2 or lightstrike 2?

Yo! I am finally getting the hang of loadouts. I can't find CF-557 Galdereen Laser Repeater on erkul. How and where do I buy it?
Fixed mount, size 5, laser repeater. A Center Mass at Area 18 or New Babbage, Dumpers Depot at Levski

What is your recommendation for the gun loadout on the turret?
Strife Mass drivers for the range. CF series if you want infinite ammo.

Another good option is the GT-215 Gatling. It has lower range than the mass drivers, but the velocity is better, making hits more likely. And one of the Vanguard's biggest advantages is that the S2 shields (other than the Sukorans) are constantly regenerating ~600hp per second, even while taking fire... whereas smaller fighters with S1 shields have a delay before recharging after they take damage. So my strategy with a gunner is to have them focus on making sure that the target doesn't get time to regen shields, even if they get in behind me, by spamming tons and tons of bullets their way.
Why would you get Warden instead of lets say Harbinger or Sentinel since they can equip all same shields and get rockets or emp?

I think that the sukoran shield is a bit unfair as it is right now. Either you pay for it with (a lot) of real money, or you won't have the chance to get it... Losing maybe the most deadly shield combo. In a "only skills matter, you can get everything in game" mantra we are told everytime is a bit annoying.
You can get 2 of them in game for 2.5 mil, by buying the prowler in game at area 18. Also it has it benefits but it also has its downsides.
Wait... terrible shield regen? the shield you recommended says 310/s regen, and the Sukoran you shows says 419/s. What am I missing here?
Yes downed Regen delay. Damage Regen delay. There are more to Regen than the rate. Also since this is an alpha things are always changing. My up-to-date recommend loadout is in the pinned comment.

Just keep an eye on your power requirements, since the Sent adds an EMP to the loadout. As SubliminaL suggested, you can use erkul.games/calculator to see how your powerplants/weapons/etc fit together.
The power plant could be an issue if you have a man in the turret.

With the available Weapons it's impossible to get a single pip for fixed Weapons, that's really sad because you can't hit with all weapons at the same time thats a big reason for me to not buy a Warden

This is a tad incorrect.
I run the size 5 galdareen and the 4x s2 laser repeaters, and they all have basically the same time to target, so they only need the one pip.
Agreed with all of the above. Since 3.10 there is either 1 pip or they are so close i never noticed. I can even mix ballistics with the 557s.

My question is, why would you want this over the Sentinel when it costs twice as much in game?

This is not true... The sentinel is the most manuverable. The harb is the slow one. The warden is slightly less than the sent. Check out the spat tool. Or my sent vs harb video.

How about an update unless not needed.
Since they base lined the stats in 3.14 I don't see the reason for loadout guides atm, but you can always go to subliminal.gg/loadouts. I update them as needed every patch.
So... just going to nitpick... your build had under 8k heat after 30 minutes. If you swapped back to the big ass S5 laser repeater, you can indeed attack from outside your detection range. Your heat in that configuration would be right around 8k letting you snipe fighters before they even knew that you were there. Doesn't work on S2 radars, but the only thing with an S2 radar that the Vanguard has to worry about is another Vanguard. Opening up with a laser repeater WILL spike the shit out of your heat, but any time you start shooting you're giving up stealth.
Yes that could work but I'd prefer to have more than just the first few shots be stealthy. I should reword my, usually unachievable, goal to "attack and continue attacking" Actually that could be a viable stealth tactic though. However I think at that id rather just forgo stealth at that point to have more shield pool.
@@SubliminaLstv Using the Harbinger all the time for bounties, I know you can kill some ships before they even know you're there with the S5 gal, and just popping that one ship before the missiles start pouring in can make more difference than the larger shield pool. Also... Stealth Umbra + Sukoran ftw.

IF and when, EM gets some love, the Sentenal will be depending on game play and experience, a better selection.

Good luck with that... I don't think they will do a black 600 as it could piss off the 27k people. Maybe a matte black so the black/gold baller addition will still stand out.
Nah, that’s a dead warden. With those plants, you put too much pressure on the shields, especially if you’re running Suko/Fr combo, they won’t just overheat the shields, your power plants will crash and turn off.
The suks use significantly less power than an FR-76. I flew around with dual suks and the eclipses for hours no pp issues.
@@SubliminaLstv Yeah it definitely says that.... but, never have I had dual FR-76’s overheat or fail to recharge. When I was running Suko/Fr-76 combo, fuckers would always have issues. It’s like Palisade/FR-66 combo for lighter fighters.. it doesn’t work as well as Guardian/FR-66 combo despite it saying it should.
@@SubliminaLstv Countless hours of 1vX outnumbered fights man. Love the ballistic absorb, but if you get blind sided by a good pilot, who gives you a good chunking, you’ll be hard paced to regather ground on those shields.
I'm not saying anything says.. anything. I've been flying around the verse for a little more than a week. Everytime I went out I had at least one suk (Unless I was testing stealth) The sukorans have given me no issues, other than their intended faults. They have terrible regen rate but a large shield pool that (if you have 2 equipped) blocks 100% ballistic fire. And when i say terrible I mean terrible 18s down delay means if you've managed to evade fire for 16 secs and you get hit once that timer just got reset. And if a facing gets downed, well just hide and take a piss break when you get back, you'll either be dead or have your shields half way up. Anyway, I do occasionally hear the ship complain about shield power low but the shields still worked as intended so I assume this is a bug. For this reason I dont reccomend suks for PVP. Especially a dual suk build.
Ok I see where were having a misunderstanding. I dont think the suks are good for PVP. Also, are you talking about arena commander?
