Good question po, sa nabantayan po namin wala naman, pero pag nailagay xa sa plants tapos may ants, ok lang po yun. Tumutulong po silang puksain ang mga pest tulad ng mga melibugs at aphids..
Very nice voice. Thank you, I needed to look for tips because I have 3 pots of this plant and while the leaves look ok when they come out, the tips slowly turn brown and burn as they grow bigger. And so I end up always cutting them. What seems to be the proplem here po?
Mallit pa po ba? If maliit pa, that's normal kasi they can't hold their leaves for too long lalo pag maliit pa yung stem nila. Yung variegated alocasia leaves talaga, madali po masira. Pero factor din po yung lugar kung saan sila nakalagay, yung potting media and yung pag wawater sa kanila.. na experience po namin yan..dati nakaka stress.. enjoy while it last po

natural process po ang variegation Maam..We can't do it. But if you have variegated plants, you try to out your green plants beside it. Although that is something I can't be sure of. It's either yung variegated yung maging pure green or yung green ang magiging variegated..depende po yun sa resistance ng plant nyo

Hello. our alocasia was really small during this video. it even got smaller nung palaging umuulan last december. ayaw nya sa pinaglagyan sa kanya, but now, malaki na po sya. and sulit na sulit yung bili ko..ang layo2 na ng size nya dati na paramg 5 peso coin lang.

Hi, thank you for this video, it really helped. Mine is about 1 ft tall with three leaves, placed next to a window near a humidifier. One leaf suddenly started to get thin and transparent :( Too much sun? or too moist? Checked for root rot, wala po :(
Baka po there may times during the day na masyadong mainit near the window, d po maganda yun..and usually po talaga, the variegated leaf is weaker then the green ones.

sa nabasa ko po pag nagdidrip sya ng water, medyo overwatered sya kaya nilalabas nya yung excess water sa leaves nya. if tingin nyo po hindi nagdidrain yung water sa pot, much better if irepot nyo po. kasi kahit di madalas mag dilig, kapag di nagdidrain, may tendency na mag root rot po.

If the plant is not getting enough light, it will respond by making all-green leaves so it can make more chlorophyll. Put variegated plants near a window or artificial light source para lumitaw po ying variegation. Pero d po dapat sa direct sunlight. Hope it helps.. 😊
hello po. variegation happens naturally po and is something we can't do on our own. But there are chances that plants variegate when you place them near other variegated plants.. Just try and see if it will work.
Ung ganyan ko po kasi laging nalalanta tas nauubos ung dahon nya 2 times a week ko lang naman po sya dinidiligan tas di naman po sya nasa direct sunlight almost 1 year na po syang ganon🥺

Di po dapat often ting pag water sa kanya kasi baka mag rot young bulb nya. jsut like philodendrons po, allow top soil to dry between waterings. d po kasi check mo yung soil if at least 2 inches from the top kung basa pa, wag muna iwater..sa amin, at least twice or thrice a week lang. depende sa weather din.

It's normal..It will be in place in time. Usually that happens on new leaves.
