I hope when the Surfliner plans to get new coaches they'll run trains with 8 to 10 coaches again for the Summer and Thanksgiving travel times, sometimes 11 and 12 as well. They could also do with longer trains during the Christmas travel period, same with the Capitol Corridor and San Joaquins.

Well, I KNOW Amtrak #505 is in San Diego, it's Sister Locomotive, #504 is in Chicago! Amazing how these Locomotives are scattered across the United States! :)

Not really, you would be suprised how busy this train can be. Sometimes standing room only even with 10 cars.
