    The Delta puppy age restriction is now 6 weeks (12/2/2023) according to the reservation agent I just spoke to. They recommend you call BEFORE booking your flight because you will be stuck with a useless ticket if there are already 3 pets reserved on the flight you booked. They can do the reservation for you over the phone and reserve your puppy's ticket at the same time. I just booked on Delta for a puppy pick up on 12/30/23.

    Thank you so much! I am also traveling with United and my puppy will be 10 weeks at the time. She will have 2 vaccines but still too young for the rabies. I will get a health certificate, but just wondering if that could be a problem?

      From my understanding, it shouldn’t be a problem. I have traveled with puppies that are 10 weeks and we don’t get rabies because they are too young. The certificate should come from the vet and it will include everyone on there you need 🤍

    Can you travel with an 8 week old puppy on United Airlines? Has anyone experienced any issues?

    • @alliehoth

      Yes! They have to be at least 8 weeks to fly according to the website.

    This is extremely helpful, thank you! I am flying with United to pick up my puppy who will be 9 weeks at the time of travel in August and they stated they didn't need a health certificate but might still get one to be safe. She hasn't received any vaccines and I'm reading that she needs to have her rabies for travel. I have a vet appt lined up for her when she arrives but wanted to know if your puppies have vaccines prior to traveling?

    Does Alaska airlines let you use a large Sherpa? Another pet transporter said get the premium seats with more leg room, and it should be fine.
    Let me know what you think please😊

    Do the airlines allow you to hold the carrier on your lap once the flight is going??

    • @alliehoth
      @alliehoth  Год назад

      Unfortunately no, the carrier has to be under the seat in front of you.

    Hello, we are flying from SLC to Charlotte in November. I plan to see if my dog will fit in a carry on, but I am anticipating that she won't fit. So I would like to know what is the largest size aussiedoodle that you have flown with in cabin?

    • @alliehoth
      @alliehoth  2 года назад

      I have never flown an Aussiedoodle! Just goldendoodles. You can fly them up to 20 pounds.

    Do you think they allow the back pack style carriers or is it only the ones that are more crate like? Thanks for all the info!!!

    • @alliehoth
      @alliehoth  2 года назад +1

      I believe they allow those as well, it would probably have to be the side that faces your back to the ground when you put it under the seat. I hope that makes sense 🤣
