The very last note, the harmonic on the 3rd fret on the g string…. it’s a combination of bar and behind the nut bend. Starts with the bar already dipped as the harmonic is hit on the 3rd, bar is then released, note is then raised up from behind the nut and released, then the bar is dipped and released again. This took me over 20 years to discover! :)

Thank you Jose ! Yours was the best instruction video on this magnificent solo from Jeff Beck. I've been trying to learn this solo since teenage time ! Just a small suggestion, perhaps you can consider placing your camera facing more directly on your guitar and frets, so we can see clearer.

been trying to do this solo using the open g tuning with a slide
thanks for this lesson
that opening note he gets at the very first note has been bugging me. never thought to just bend that F note up
i was going through some old vids of him talking about slide and he said he doesn't use open tunings at all
now finding out you have to use a trem makes sense
i usually faked my way through this solo
i've been trying to figure out this solo note for note for years now
this is one of those solos that is just genious
it's on my top 10 list of solos to learn

I´m using Zero, a floor amp made by Thermion, and for the distortion, I´m using a pedal called Heartbreaker, made also by Thermion. also a tad of compression and a short reverb. Thanks for watching!

Hello sir did you use locking tuners with your strat when you installed the vega trem?
Hello. yes I have locking tuners but you don't really need them. I think it's more important to have a properly made nut and to lubricate every point of contact with the strings in order to keep a stable tuning.

Clavadito!!! Mira que bon jovi no me gusta nada pero el solo es otro mundo....crees que lo toco con o sin púa? Por que hace años que la dejó de lado, otra cosa que me llama la atención es que nunca se atreve con la acústica....
Seguro que lo tocó sin púa. Yo lo intenté sin ella pero pierdo bastante precisión. Lo de la acústica se le perdona porque tocar así la eléctrica es casi un regalo de los Dioses :)
