I am wondering if most of these are multi- generational homes. I am only used to seeing high rise apartment buildings, I was shocked at the size of these houses ! Even though theses homes are packed together like sardines, I am sure it is a luxury to have a house, as opposed to an apartment.
@cyann410 yes, considering that 70% of Korea is mountainous and a population of almost 52 million has to live on the rest of 100,210 km² it is quite unbelievable that each house would be occupied by only one family of father, mother, and children. So, it's quite possible that those houses are occupied by the extended family.

I love when you walk through the neighborhoods and I get to see the modern style homes. They look so much like what we have here in the USA. I would enjoy walking in these areas looking at the homes there.
With the difference being the roads are small/narrower, which makes it safer and walkable. Even tho this a major city, this kind of layout makes it feel like a small town, which is what we really need more of in the US and Canada
A truly winter wonderland in Ilsandong-hu in Goyang, Gyoenggi Province. :) It has this soothing and serene atmosphere of a calm and snowy evening. One can also see the cleanliness, modern homes and brand new cars. It's very telling of how wealthy Korea has become. Amazing footage.

The snow and I don't know each other, to be able to see the snow I have to drive for 2 hours and the roads are not closed you can visit La Rumorosa which is 4000 meters above sea level and there it does snow, so for me to see you walk on the snow and hearing the snow crunch under your shoes is very relaxing.Ilsan this neighborhood in Ilsan is so pretty and different. just watching ur walk as i do almost daily 😋 and that first neighborhood you were walking in with the big huge houses remind me of it maybe upstate New York in the USA or even Dallas Texas some neighborhoods there except for the Ferrari and the Mercedes and other hundred thousand dollar vehicles sitting on the street .in the US that wouldn’t happen and if they were they would be stolen real fast or someone would be jealous and scratch them somehow I love your shows thanks
