    I wouldn’t put it past our beloved Emperor to attempt rewiring Vader’s brain. Especially during the early days of the Empire. He probably considered a lobotomy

    "Of all the monsters I have created, I still regard Darth Vader as something of a minor masterpiece. No, he was not an entirely alchemical creation, but he was my monster nevertheless. Even though he failed to live up to his full potential, there was much pleasure in transforming Anakin Skywalker from a bright-eyed, tousle-headed youth into the greatest Jedi killer of all time. Yes, he ultimately turned against his Master, as monsters sometimes do, but that was my fault, not his. Given the opportunity to create Vader again, I would, and with zeal."
    - Palpatine

    Poor Vader was so focused on General Grievous that he didn’t recognize his fulfillment of Dooku’s fate.

    • @meinvolkuberalles
      @meinvolkuberalles 22 дня назад

      How so? Vader didn't die as a pawn or even as vader. Anakin returned to the light and brought balance to the force by killing palpatine.

    • @LordWyatt
      @LordWyatt 22 дня назад

      @@meinvolkuberallesit was the moment when Palpatine told Luke to kill Vader when he recognized/remembered the same situation decades earlier after he defeated Dooku as Anakin. Instead of giving in to anger or following Sidious’ command Luke chose mercy and threw his lightsaber away (granted that was a big mistake, don’t underestimate the Emperor) which shook Anakin to his core just before the final choice.
      After Vader’s defeat on Mustafar Sidious had no intention of passing on the Empire to him as his potential was lost. It wasn’t until Luke came around that an Apprentice could surpass his Power.
      Again the point originally was Vader feared becoming another Grievous (which he had in many ways) but what he couldn’t see was his similarities to Dooku: fallen Jedi, leader of Palpatine’s enforcers, thought he could never be replaced, Sith Lord, attachments holding him back (for Dooku it was Obi Wan), and that he didn’t have a prayer against Sidious in Power or a Fight without help.

    Considering how much Sidious thought through stuff it's not surprising he made Vader weaker than he could've been otherwise to make sure he had as little chance of overthrowing Sidious on his own terms as possible.
    Side note: the back half of the video is noticeably louder than the front half for some reason.

  • @ozmozis6073

    Vader's realizations are weak. He never translated it into performance; either pain made him stronger, which means a suit that enhances pain, especially as he acclimated to it over time, or a suit that was far more comfortable and delivered on minimizing his physical limits. One or the other. He chose neither. The Death Star failure to be fair wasn't Vader's fault. Sure he was a Sith yet this was Palpatine's failure in trusting Tarkin and Vader was demoted for it.
    Vader would've been better off, as a story line similar to Maul, by turning to Mother Talzin, through use of the Nightsisters Force Sorcery and regrowing his limbs then quietly returning to Palpatine's side with a better/revised plan to take Palpatine and his Force Lightening on. All Vader does is give up till Luke shows up.

  • @Gor85

    This is great. Great explanation! It was Anakin's fault. Everything. Defeat on Mustafar,death of Padme,loos of his friends. It was Anakin's fault. So Vader's power started to grow much faster,stronger. He really became Sith Lord and one of the leaders of the Empire. May the Force be with you too😊

In all honesty Palpatine was ALWAYS trying to get Vader to be a true Sith without changing him anymore then needed, lest like said, he made IT WORSE an irreversibly. As Science WASNT Palpatines strong suit an he knew it. An honestly, there WASN'T vast majority of time anyone both strong as even Classic Vader or as trustworthy for Palpatine

    Grevious was a means to an end as part of the sith's grand plan during the clone wars as a mindless butcher to lead the forces of the confederacy and do with it horrific viciousness and bloody efficiency. Vader was a sith lord of tremendous skill and power, the right hand and chosen successor of Darth Sidious, destined to rule at his side and only ended up in a slightly lower role due to his own missteps and failure on mustafar.

      Anakin was more than powerful than Obi-Wan in the force though. Obi-Wan was originally not accepted as a padawan because the council saw that he had less than average potential in the force. He was sent to help out with agriculture and received a second chance to become a jedi by helping Qui-Gon Jinn I believe. Anakin on the other hand had a higher Midi-chlorian count than Yoda. Obi-Wan was able to win because he knew Anakin well and he was able to be more calm and focused.
