thank you :) I am not going to add any sound into any of my videos in general! I hope to improve the sound in the future just with how I record but not adding in sound is both less of a headache (everyone has a different taste in music) and I think it adds something more natural to it!
This is absolutely amazing! Loved that you kept it au natural, as others have also said. Adding music or enhancing the colours ruins it for many of us. So a huge THANK YOU for leaving nature to dazzle us all! New sub
that's my "thing"! I used to do aurora photography but I kind of stopped after being discouraged with the editing scene! It is more fun (in my personal opinion) to just walk around and take a video once in a while! More time to enjoy the auroras without being glued to a camera, and a whole different type of content to share! I hope someday people enjoy these little walk around videos, we will see! For now, I am just enjoying the new adventure!
Outstanding video. I was stationed in the Air Force at Sondrestrom AB, Greenland back in the 80s and saw a night like this once... when the entire sky - from horizon to horizon - was full of dancing aurora. Thanks for sharing this.
Какой же вы молодец! Вам удалось запечатлеть завораживающие моменты этого прекрасного явления. Видео получилось просто уникальным. Спасибо за то, что дарите эти моменты природы людям для просмотра! ❤
Thank you so much, this is so beautiful and natural, the wind and your steps. I felt like I was there. (And now I am de-frosting next to my radiator) :-)
This is the most beautiful Aurora video I have seen. Sometimes the audio sounds like wind and sometimes almost like thunder. Do Auroras make these sounds or did a microphone catch the wind blowing?
everyone should experience it at least once! The auroras are so magical and fun to be around! Alaska has become very accessible too, it is within reach my friend!
@@cnlastro-andywitteman2637 planning a trip with the Mrs soon (within the next 2 years). Can’t wait to see this beauty in real life I’ve been talking about it since I was 8. Great video though you did a good job at capturing this natural beauty
@@AIsongs-dr1pp yessir!! I went to Fairbanks from 3/4/2024-3/9/2024. On Wednesday 3/6/2024, me and my fiancé saw them for the first time. It was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen! I had tears in my eyes when they came out bro!
It was my dream as well and I am living it this week! Seen them every single day in fairbanks. I’m staying a week incase the forecast stated no aurora BUT its been here every night! Good luck on viewing :) it is SO worth it.
Real time!? Nice captures of amazing display!! Do you mind if I ask what camera and lens did you use for this video? I used to live in Alaska and saw many amazing lights...
Yessss :) I am only doing real time because I'm not very good at photography and I just like walking around with my camera now hahah, it's fun to me! I'm using an A7siii and this was with a rented 14mm f1.8 GM! I own an a 24mm F1.4 I use in most videos though!
yess I have a gimbal im starting to use more! The only problem is that it dies really quick in the cold, so I have like 10 minutes to make it worth it befor I go back to charging and im stuck with a tripod
@@cnlastro-andywitteman2637 Well, your investment sure paid off. I've seen many excellent photos of Auroras, but an excellent video, in real-time, is much rarer. Excellent work Andy.
yess they are actually really easy to find on your own! Sometimes I am not a huge fan of the tour companies because they charge a lot of money just to drive somewhere you could very easily go yourself! There are so many turnoffs on the roads and highways here (especially out past Chatanika and down towards Delta) it isn't that difficult to find your own place with a nice view!
Most excellent! And thank you for keeping the natural audio and not adding New Age-y music to this, like every other night-sky video in existence.
agree... they're nice if made with care and not just whipped together, but I find the actual sounds add a lot more and are more natural

Even the wind sound added a nice effect.
New age music is almost as annoying as people who complain about music.
This video is fabulous and amazing! G-d's light and sound show is more awesome and wild than anything we can conjure.

What a beautiful evening walk !! 😍

Amazing capture in this video!! I'm so blessed to live in Fairbanks Alaska and experience this in person. 💜💙💚
Just astonishing... thank you so much for this. At 3:10 it looks like a big whale made of light.
It really does look like a whale!

Is it really this bright in real life? With the snow lit up and everything?
Incredible!! We head to Fairbanks and the hot springs in 3 weeks. Praying for clear skies. Thank you for sharing this!!

aww welcome! and thank you very much, I am still learning but it is a lot of fun!
Wow, that's crazy!

Is this the Wind? Beautiful. I like that The sounds of the Night are present
What makes the crackling sound? Beautiful overall!

just the wind :) I've only heard the auroras once and I've seen between like 400 and 500 of them! So it's really reallyyyy rare to hear them!
All the stars omg
I will move to Canada from Ukraine after a couple of weeks, and hope sometimes I will see such a beauty. Thanks for upload!
So have you seen this yet now that you probably moved to Canada?
