You can clearly see the „older“ students are less crazy with their fits. The student who haven’t been studying for that long are more eager to show their fashion sense
I think its more about exploring and while you get older you settle in for your style more

Maybe they bought it online and the name or brand is like a paragraphs long of random words. It that way for me and it always awkward when my friend ask me about my clothes.
Love college student style coz they’re all either flea market bought or vintage but they make it look super cool. Since you’re on a budget, this is how your fashion sense are tested and oh boy they make it work. Love it! Gotta get me anything Raf Simmons and that DMs platform. 👌🏼

ok same i'm from the u.s midwest and the school im going to has a focus on sciences and medicine. everyone's outfits are so basic 😭. Like I respect those who just want to dress comfortably but I feel awkward bcs I'd stand out a lot if I dressed like the people in this video.

It bugs me when people say that they got a specific item from places like Depop, Ebay, Poshmark, etc and don’t follow up with the brand name 😭 Those reseller websites are not brands. Unless it’s handmade (shout out the seller if you remember who it is) or the tag is gone. I’m not upset at anyone in this video tho lmao it’s not like i expect people to take off their clothes in public💀 I just come across a lot of tiktokers who do this whenever people ask. Definitely a pet peeve of mine.

They might just not remember what the tag says. Most of my wardrobe is from vintage stores/secondhand and I don't memorize the tag of every item.

I have the same corduroy culotte pants from Gap (at ~ 9:27) in light pink so I appreciate seeing how she styled it. I've styled it with cropped square shirts and sandals in the summer, but outside of that I barely wear it. I only bought it because I used to work at Gap and got it for like $4.97 looking for deals.
Also I'm from NJ and haven't experienced what the person at 12:00 said, maybe it's because I was closer to NY, but my empathy is with them. I grew up in a predominantly white suburb so the part of everyone wearing 'mom clothes' or dressing similar is something I saw growing up, but I wasn't shunned for wearing different clothing. After a while I proudly wore my African traditional clothes randomly whether people liked it or not and my style continued to evolve!

yes, im totally planning on continuing this concept in lisbon! in every city there are people more and less receptive to being filmed (believe, what i show in the videos is a highlighter but i receive a lot of "no's" in the process) but i love a good challenge 🤍🤍 thank you for commenting!

Chinese are the best when it comes to fashion, and they were wearing good brands such as maison margiela
crocs coming back is my worst nightmare. I used to have these bright blue crocs that i used as my slippers for 8 years (they DO last) but i had constant nightmares where i accidentally wore them out on public smh.

So I get that this is a fashion school and my opinion may come off as quite judgmental, however, I'm just trying to be authentic in my observations here. I get the feeling that a lot of these students are pretty young so I do understand that many of them are simply being expressive, bold, and creative, so I mean no harm when I say that I can't help but to feel like a lot of these students are just doing the absolute most. For me it's the ones who are doing the "least", or "minimal effort" who are standing out the most. I also feel like simplicity is so underrated, especially in a sea of obviously boisterous "stand outs", but I am sure that plenty of other people do appreciate it as well. No one needs to agree with me these are only my opinion and my two cents on the matter. I'm still here enjoying these videos and content. I hope everyone has a good day .
