Going there for Christmas. My cousin lives there. Amenities galore. Beautiful. Only downside are taxes and CDD fees. I'm in Riverview so it's about an hour drive. She loves it.
Taxes are actually not bad compared to most places… cdd fees are a choice… you don’t have to have them! Let us know if you need help with anything and thank you for the comments!
I enjoy your videos--thanks for sharing. Just a thought, but it would be interesting to hear from folks that live in these towns/communities. You interviewing/asking residents about their likes/dislike, their experience in relocating, etc., would make for some solid and relevant viewer content.
Sounds great and I can definitely try to mix that in. FYI… I typically use the feedback from my clients or even some of my agents that live in these areas for my info. One of my agents have lived in Wesley chapel for 20 years and another in fishawk and st Pete so we have a good blend. Thank you for the suggestion and I’ll try to mix that in!
I live a few miles west of Starkey Ranch. I've been to numerous outings in the area and know some families that live there. It's a beautiful community, and expensive. The biggest drawback to the first two communities showcased is the traffic. Because so many people are moving here, the traffic on SR54 is a nightmare. But the amenities are nice and there's everything nearby if you like suburban living.
I appreciate the love! If you need help in planning things before that 2024 retirement lol… reach out to my team and we would be happy to be your local resource/realtors! Info@themorejongroup.com
Absolutely! Great question! We have great relationships with many home builders throughout Tampa and would love to help you find a new construction home. We know the areas well. Shoot me an email with any questions you may have and tell me a little about your plan to move here. I’ll respond and follow up as needed! Info@themorejongroup.com Adam
Agreed. Tampa in general doesn’t have great transportation options. It’s always been a commuter city. With that said very easy to get around and Uber and lift are everywhere if you need it
You have to assume so, but you wouldn’t swim in that water either. Most of the southern states from Tennessee to Georgia etc are all the same in that regard. It’s not just a Florida thing.
@@TampaFloridaLiving if I rent an apartment outside of starkey ranch will I still be able to enjoy the parks at starkey? Or is the parks and trails only for residents of starkey ranch ?
I’m from Long Island, NY, and was there a few weeks ago to see my aunt who just recently moved there last year. One of the things I noticed is how prevalent “Trump culture” is over there. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but it was actually really surprising to see trump plastered on everything. It comes across as very festive, but can equally be very polarizing if you’re from a more left leaning state.
Odessa looks really nice, and Starkey Ranch as well! The sky looked amazing, and it seems like you are past those really hot and humid summer days!
I mean it gets warm, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Love being in shorts and yes the day was gorgeous. Weather between now and may is fantastic
Oh yeah, Odessa, USA
This is great! This answers my questions
Awesome! If you need help finding a home shoot us an email! Info@themorejongroup.com

It's a shame none of these communities have public transport

Looks pretty cool, but is there gators and water snakes around those bodies of water?

Does the starkey ranch have apartments for rent ? Or only houses?
They do have apartments outside of starkey but I’m not sure the name
@@TampaFloridaLiving if I rent an apartment outside of starkey ranch will I still be able to enjoy the parks at starkey? Or is the parks and trails only for residents of starkey ranch ?
@@PA-yy8vu the parks etc in starkey are only for residents. You would have access to the Suncoast bike trail though
