- Double Smoked Ham on the Weber Kettle is the perfect alternative for those of us who are not keen on the traditional Turkey. Spiral cut ham comes precooked, so you're just warming it up. Double smoking is the perfect way to add extra flavor and make that ham your own. You can use smoke of your chose and experiment with glazes that will take that holiday ham to the next level. Honestly, double smoked ham doesn't have to be reserved just for the holidays. Smoke one up anytime. It makes an awesome sandwich meat and a protein that will go with any vegetable. If you like vegetables.
For this ham, I picked up a hickory smoked ham from the Walmarts. Tossed the glaze that was included and got it on the Weber, set up for indirect cooking with FOGO charcoal, at 275°.
In a pot you're not afraid to get smoked up, toss in the following ingredients:
18 oz Cherry Preseves
1/4 c Sorghum or Molasses
1/4 c Sriracha
1 tbsp MOJO BBQ
A splash of you favorite cherry beverage
Place on grill until ready to use.
When ham reaches 100° internal, baste ham at 10° intervals until it reaches 130°. Remove ham at 140° internal, about a 3 hr cook time, and enjoy.

I try this for Christmas and man oh man this ham rocked the taste buds ever one just love it!! thank for the help!
That r&b roll was classic!
I almost look like a professional. 🤣🤣Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving
Awesome looking ham.
Thank you. and it tasted as good as it looked. Appreciate you
Made this for Christmas dinner # 2.
Turned out fantastic. Glaze is to die for !
It was a fine glaze. I swapped cherry out for peach this year. It was fine eating also
Did this last year for Christmas. Turned out great! Made a whiskey peach glaze. Got Hey Grill Hey Whiskey Peach BBQ sauce (1/2 cup) and 1/2 cup Apple jelly. Mixed in a sauce pan and heated up till both mixed. Let cool. Once ham reached temp, started basting ham every 20 minutes. Also used a wire rack. Really helped taking ham off. I smoked the ham in my Weber Smokey Mountain cooker. Smoked with Peach wood.
God bless you too Jay! I’m smoking a ham while watching this and who else to check out a glaze but Mojo himself! Sipping on some bourbon whilst watching….must just add some to that glaze, I’m thankful I found your channel! Cheers my brother!
Have a great Thanksgiving , were thankful for guys like you , teaching us how BBQ better !
Thank you Jason. Means more than you think.
Thank you for the inspiration. Wife don’t like cherry. Father in law don’t like pineapple. So we did peach.
Peach Ham Glaze
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Peach Nehi Soda
1/2 Cub Kosmo Q Peach Jalapeño Glaze
1/2 Jar of Peach Preserves
1/4 Cup of Honey
1/4 Cup of Mississippi Grind
Sorry out of your rub. The Kosmo Q glaze is the ticket in place of the molasses. Could not find any sorghum quickly. Doing a pineapple one for Saturday using Kosmos Pineapple Heat. Thanks again. Amazing
That's awesome. I did peach myself today. Used same recipe but substituted with nehi and peach preserves. I think I liked it better. Your recipe sounds awesome and you can't go wrong with the Swine Life. Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for watching. Means alot.
Making this for Christmas dinner, can’t wait!
Me too! Good luck!

Any day of the week. Feathered creatures are not my favorite
Great video. Totally appreciate quality homemade film making. Only thing I can add is try putting some holiday spices in the glaze - cinnamon, cloves and your favorite essence. 😊
Happy Thanksgiving, another awesome video, this I am going to try. Thank you
we loved it. Did another one and used peach preserves and peach nehi instead of cherry. It might have been a little better

Hell yeah 🤩🤩
thanks
How long did it take cooking that bad boy at 271.3?
It was right at a 3 hr cook.
Thank you Stud! Awsome work
I rather not go get cherry wood and I only have oak.
Do y’all think it will over power with smoke flavor?
As long as you rub a clean fire I think you should be OK. Once you start glazing you might back off on smoke to be safe
Does the sriracha sauce make it hot
It's not hot. It just gives you a subtle heat. I live in a house full of women and they love it
I found this recipe from "Food With Nick" channel to where he duplicated this recipe just like you made it while giving you credit for this and leaving your link in his description. After watching both your videos I decided to smoke my Easter ham this way. I bought all the cherry preserves, molasses and everything else for the glaze today even the cherry coke :-) I know this will turn out awesome. This is the first time I've used preserves for any type of glazing and I'm sure I can get used to doing it over and over again instead of using just the usual, for me, an apple juice or pineapple juice.
What’s the song name?
Dang!
Ham it up!
So I'm making some baby backs on Sunday and I'm thinking of using this cherry glaze.......
Did you use the cherry glaze and how did it turn out?
Holy cow!! The mystery man revealed his face!!! Call the media!!
Just needed to show everyone why I hide my face. I'll probably lose subscribers now.
Ha ha, nag. Now get back to cooking up these great videos. Love em! Happy Holidays!
Mojo,
I tried this for dinner tonight and hit was a grandslam with the friends and family.
Thank you sir!
Thank you for trying it. So glad you and tha family enjoyed it.
That looks fucking delicious!!! I have to make that!
Funniest pitmaster about
Trish Epple
OCD must like me
Now let me see if I can duplicate it !
I believe you can. Simple and delicious
@@MojoBarbeque Well I didn't, lol. My Weber SMG arrived, I put it together, didn't understand where the water pan went and set it on the coals rather than the bracket for the purpose of holding it over the coals and couldn't get my smoker up to temp. Not to be out done while working in the dark, I fired up my old smoker with a little less control and everything rocked along, I over did it a little but then I made the mistake of using the packet that came with the ham.....the mix is not that good....you tried to tell me.... so I have a not too bad ham which I will eat....we don't waste nothing here in WNC....but it could have been better had I not got in a hurry to fire up the Weber and checked the pictures of the smoker internals more carefully, dang it, LOL, oh well , it is what it is.... I have since gone to Amazon for Sriracha seasoning whatever that is and your website for the MoJo Beef & BBQ seasoning, I have molasses and preserves of course, and the Dollar General will have Cherry Coke . I can't promise you that I won't mangle one of your recipes ever again since that's the way I roll but I'm going to try to do better..... I have a lot of friends over there in Tenn., great people, go Bush Beans !
You need wash it first
