What if you are attaching the feet to floorboards, like in the UK. They are 18/20 mm thick. Is it best to mount on a plinth to spread the load?
have installed grohe cistern at home but instead of the metal frame the plumber built a brick enclosure for the cistern. Hope it works just as fine.

Vielen Dank für dieses Video, die Fachkräfte die es bei unserer Mietswohnung einbauten haben dieses kleine orangene Teil das in den Müll gehört im Kasten belassen. Bei vollständiger Spülung hat das kleine Ding die Apparatur verkeilt so das immer weiter Wasser nachlief. Dank dem Video konnte ich das als Fremdkörper ausmachen und jetzt entsorgen.

Hi I have an issue with this concealed cistern. I have fitted two in my home. One seems to be fine. But the other seems to be allowing air movement from the wall cavity into the room via the flush plate. I have a sealed home with an MVHR unit, this air path is a continuous source of attic like smells. I can only assume they are not suitable for air tight / passive houses.

First of all, odours that could originate from your drainage system are interrupted by the siphon. Hence, you could check the drainage piping in your house for possible openings that let air escape.
Within the cistern itself, there is no connection to the drainage system and fresh water is used for flushing. It might be, that smells that come from within the toilet itself are being released through the cistern and then through the cistern cover. However, once flushed, these smells should disappear as well - as they do with your other cistern, which appears to be working flawlessly.

Having seen the reviews on a sales site, attaching the pan to the framework after installation. There seems to be an issue with the plastic fixings and the grub screw stripping the thread of those plastic fittings. I am considering the Grohe Euro rimless wall hung EURWHWC. Wondering if this issue has been addressed

@@Johnbro8 John, not sure how you got on but I am having a nightmare hanging the pan! The plastic fittings are flimsy, and there is an issue with the plastic fixings and the grub screw stripping the thread of those plastic fittings. One has just snapped leaving the pan half on! I wouldn't recommend!
Grub screw? Is it those small worm screws? I am bit confused what you mean, where is it used exactly? Maybe you mean the set screw that is controlling the valve? The one you turn to turn on water?

Hi. Can you install the frame recessed in to masonry/brick wall so you don't have to create an false wall or studs.
I have seen these fitted under a window and they have removed the internal brick work to allow for it to fit flush not 100% if this is structurally okay though

Will there be a problem if the 90° pipe that fits in the locking ring is fitted in the inner circle instead of the outer one that is shown at 3:08?
So that the pipe sticks out 2cm from the frame.

We have just installed one but for some reason the flush doesn't work. Also tried blowing into the pipe and nothing. I don't know what is in there and can't see, so it is a bit like asking a blind person to sorry it the problem

I have purchased a Rapid SL 1.00mm but the water inlet is on the wrong side. Moving the float valve is simple but how do I rotate the flush unit 180 degrees so it is facing the correct side?
Hello, you can connect the cistern from the right side, left side or from behind, depending on local conditions. You don't have to turn the pre-wall element itself.

What is the black corrugated plastic pipe used for? Its shown at 4:15 min in the video? Any ideas whats that for?
Hello, it is a so-called empty conduit. This is important for the operation of a shower toilet, since here, for example, a water hose can be installed from the water connection of the cistern to the shower toilet. It is, so to speak, a protective cover.

Dear Team,
I have installed the everything as per the video but the flush is continuously flowing. The piston which is suppose to move up after the water level reaches a height, but it is not doing so, as a result water supply is not stopping and water is overflowing from the flush.

My waste pipe comes straight in from behind the wall - will this be compatible with that? Also, my existing waste pipe is 17cm (from the floor to the centre of the pipe) can I adjust the frame to lower it so that it fits at that height??
Hello, our elements come with a waste bend included. If you need a straight spout, you can arrange it yourself. Please note that the specified height is 230mm, not 170mm.

I made the mistake of buying a rimless toilet with this system.
The system itself is great but the water splashes forward.
I've purchased a flow limiter with part number: 42300000 but I have no idea how to install it - my hands are pretty big and it's hard to reach inside the flush mechanism.
Are there any tutorials on adding that item to the build? It should fix the water overflowing, right?

Now I now the answer: THE BEST would be to use Grohe mechanisms on a Geberit blue metal frame. Grohe blue metal frame is not good enough and allowed ceramic tiles to move away from the wall. :(

Hi I've installed the Grohe rapid SL 0.82m and realised my toilet is too low to the ground. Is there and restrictions if I raise the frame higher then it's recommended 0.82m height by the adjustable height bars by another 10cm?
Thats perfectly fine, as long as you mount it firmly.

Dear Grohe, everything has been done following step-by-step instructions on the video but no matter what, there is always a leak under the toilet pan. The toilet itself is sound - no leaks (I tested it using food colouring). Trickles of water appear to run down the pipe and gather under to toilet dripping onto the tiling below. What could the cause be?

They use probably Solidworks and/or Autodesk Inventor.
Is there a video, how to get the legs out, when you accidentally pushed them completely inside the frame? Although there is a cut through the metal, it stays there and I can't make a move. I have already put the screws out, but still... Maybe wd40?

все понятно -!- кроме одного : как КРЕПИТСЯ унитаз на торчащие из стены ШПИЛЬКИ ? Просто одели и всё что ли ??!
на гайки закручивается... эти шпильки не выглядят основательно. я думаю, если на унитаз плюхнуться, то эта вся конструкция будет играть.
@@jemmini2 ради эксперимента вставали втроём на унитаз, (инсталляция обшита гипроком+ плитка) выдержал
@@alexdiym2476 я не утверждаю, что шпильки не выдержат. но я готов поспорить, что они будут немного играть. а если встать втроем, то может и погнется вся эта байда - или шпильки, или профиль...
jemmini2 шпильки работают не на срез, а на растяжение.
У миллионов стоят инсталляции и все ок.
Not a word about amount of water adjustment. Guys this is the most painful part of whole installation. If you don't care about customers' bills maybe think about how much water was wasted this way.
