I used to do this as a kid, get some of my dad's chrome polish and hand polish some coin I'd found on the ground until I got it as shiny as I could. Fascinated me. Here I am now, 30+ years later, and just now finding out this is a whole section on RUclips 🤯🤯
I wonder how many coin collectors are going to comment that you ruined the value of the coin? They say you should never polish your coins.
Which is absolutely correct since polishing removes details from the engraving and devalues it considerably.

Fun Fact: Sisal Ropes and Strings are actually called Henequén, it comes from the plant's name, with the same name (which is very a similar to the Agave plant, used to make Tequila). The Sisal name comes from the Port which was used and branded to export it from Yucatán, México to the World.
Minimale waarde is de waarde dat wordt aangegeven op de b zijde. Een munt van bijvoorbeeld €1,- euro is en blijft altijd €1,- euro. Daarnaast bestaat er een ongeschreven regel. Dit noemt men de waarde dat een munten verzamelaars bereid is ervoor te betalen.
Verzamelaars zoeken zeldzame munten, beperkte oplagen, speciale munten. Fabricatiefout, munt error, verkeerde symbolen opdruk. Munten die NIET zijn GEBRUIKT zijn in het dagelijkse betalingsverkeer. Door het polijsten van een munt gaat het wel mooi glimmen maar dit wordt redelijk makkelijk doorzien waardoor het geen waarde heeft voor een ervaren verzamelaar. Trouwens een 5, 2 en 1 cent munt kun je niet op de zelfde wijze polijsten als een 0,10 cent 0,20 cent of 0,50 cent munt. Mijn vraag aan u is, waarom kan dit dan niet? Any metal that is polished to a high gloss is very prone to scratches. Especially copper because it is a soft metal. In addition, copper oxidizes after a while.
