I love this song and the harmony. Saw them the Friday night before in Three Oaks MI. they didn't do this song that night. But I got to talk to 6 of them at that smaller venue so I didn't care....that new Bach [I think it's a Bach] cornet Shaye is playing sounds terrific!!

I had no idea they got up that far in Michigan. Have they ever played Wheatland before? Think they'll be back? Love this band!!

Shay's cornet playing is amazing. It always has been. But it does seem more male of these days and if that is the fault of a new instrument, then. Hallelujah. What else can I say ? What needs to keep in mind that she started her musical life, playing classical piano and even went to the Boston institute of music to enhance those skills. It's only since she moved down to New Orleans that she took up other instruments and jazz and ragtime and stride and I could go on but you guys get the point. So what? She started out playing piano which she still does. But instead of playing the classical piano, she plays the honky tonk piano and she plays ragtime and Fats Waller. But let's not limit her to one instrument, 88 keys of piano. Along the way to becoming the best cornetist in the world She mastered the violin, accordion, trombone, clarinet, and others. She is Tuba Skinny's quiet face, musical coordinator, and one of the founders. Founders. I think she and Todd have been around longer than anyone else as they have been around since before it was even Tuba Skinny.
